Wednesday Walk: Walk under the strong sun of Maturín along Bolivar Avenue, boulevard of the umbrellas, squares, and high school kids!☂️☀️☁️🇻🇪

El miércoles mi hermano y yo fuimos a hacer un par de diligencias al centro de nuestra ciudad y aproveché el momento en el que pasamos por unas lindas calles para hablarles un poco al respecto.

Greetings to my walking friends, I hope you are all very well. ✨
On Wednesday my brother and I went to run a couple of errands in the center of our city and I took advantage of the moment when we passed by some nice streets to talk to you a little bit about it.
Después de lograr comprar unas cosas que teníamos al pendiente, mi hermano y yo dimos una caminata por una parte bonita de nuestra ciudad, que recibe el nombre de la ciudad distinta de Venezuela, Maturín, capital de nuestro estado, Monagas, para llegar a nuestro destino, la parada de autobuses e irnos a nuestro hogar.
Lo primero que quiero decirles es, que quiero que imaginen toda esta caminata con la canción Stronger💪🏽 de Kanye West de fondo, porque la tuve en mi mente este día y mi hermano y yo la cantábamos mientras caminábamos bajo el característico sol Maturinés🥵, intentando distraernos y ser fuertes porque hacía un calor brutal, como casi siempre.
After managing to buy a few things we had pending, my brother and I took a walk through a nice part of our city, named after the different city of Venezuela, Maturin, the capital of our state, Monagas, to reach our destination, the bus stop and go home.
The first thing I want to tell you is, that I want you to imagine all this walk with the song Stronger💪🏽 by Kanye West in the background because I had it in my mind this day and my brother and I were singing it while we were walking under the characteristic Maturinese sun🥵, trying to distract ourselves and be strong because it was brutally hot, as almost always.
Pasando por la gran Avenida Bolívar, en frente de la Catedral Nuestra Señora del Carmen, se ubica un bonito paseo ambientado con sombrillas de colores. ☂️
Debo confesarles que las pobres sombrillas ya están deterioradas y pidiendo relevo por el fuerte sol que hace acá, pero sigue viéndose bonito y aún proporcionan sombra, aquí nos detuvimos un momento para tomar fotos.
El cielo estaba muy bonito, un hermoso azul y unas nubes esponjosas esparcidas en él, no pude evitar sacar muchas fotos.
Passing by the great Bolivar Avenue, in front of the Cathedral Nuestra Señora del Carmen, there is a nice promenade decorated with colorful umbrellas. ☂️
I must confess that the poor umbrellas are already deteriorated and asking to be replaced by the strong sun here, but they still look nice and still provide shade, here we stopped for a moment to take pictures.
The sky was very nice, a beautiful blue, and some fluffy clouds scattered in it, I could not help taking many pictures.
Algo gracioso de este momento fue que en la Catedral, en sus alrededores, se encontraban unos liceístas (estudiantes de secundaria), quienes nos vieron a mi hermano y a mí tomándonos fotos y no dudaron en gritarnos cosas tontas, como si fuéramos una pareja, fue algo incómodo pero gracioso😂. Admito que me ponen nerviosa los liceístas y sus escándalos, hasta que recuerdo que en algún momento fui así, es parte de ser adolescente, no te importa hacer este tipo de cosas, aprovéchenlo jaja.
Something funny about this moment was that in the Cathedral, in its surroundings, there were some high school students, who saw my brother and me taking pictures and did not hesitate to shout silly things at us as if we were a couple, it was something uncomfortable but funny😂. I admit that high schoolers and their scandals make me nervous until I remember that at some point I was like that, it's part of being a teenager, you don't mind doing this kind of thing, take advantage of it haha.

Después de avanzar por todo este camino, nos encontramos en la plaza del estudiante y al frente, la icónica fuente de Juana la Avanzadora, cada vez más cerca de nuestro destino.
After advancing all this way, we found ourselves in the student's square, and in front of it, the iconic fountain of Juana la Avanzadora, closer and closer to our destination.
Pasando por la plaza 7, en la cual no pude sacar fotos porque siempre hay mucho movimiento y es algo peligroso sacar el teléfono, llegamos a nuestra parada, ubicada cerca de la sede de la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela. 🇻🇪
Passing by Plaza 7, in which I could not take pictures because there is always a lot of movement and it is a bit dangerous to take out the phone, we arrived at our stop, located near the headquarters of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela. 🇻🇪

Subimos a nuestro bus y rezamos internamente para que se llenase rápido y poder irnos pronto, ya que el calor era insoportable en este punto en pleno mediodía y mucho más después de esta caminata, pero hey, las fotos lindas no faltaron. ✌🏽
We got on our bus and prayed internally that it would fill up fast and we could leave soon, as the heat was unbearable at this point in the middle of the day and even more after this walk, but hey, the beautiful photos were not lacking. ✌🏽
