Daily blog: First day of intensive classes, reunion, plantain chips, and stickers!📚📝🍌💋✨

Este mes de agosto, bueno, realmente desde finales del mes de julio, empecĂ© lo que acá llamamos intensivo, es decir, ver clases en las vacaciones para adelantar lo más que se pueda y seguir avanzando en nuestra carrera, IngenierĂa de Alimentos.

I hope you are all doing well today. ✨
This August, well, actually since the end of July, I started what we call intensive classes here, which means attending classes during the holidays to get as far ahead as possible and continue advancing in our Food Engineering degree program.
Este jueves 31 de julio fue nuestro primer dĂa, nos tocaba ver la materia BioquĂmica II, esta pertenece al ciclo general en nuestro pensum y estamos felices porque cada vez nos falta menos para terminarlo y siempre agradecemos que en nuestra universidad tenemos esta oportunidad de ver intensivo, porque en otras no hacen eso y tardas un poco más.
Nuestro horario para esta materia es de 10:10 AM a 11:30 AM, me fui con mi amiga Dinalba que vive cerca y allá nos encontramos todos, no veĂa a mis amigos desde el Ăşltimo dĂa de clases, hace más de 1 mes, asĂ que fue muy divertido reencontrarnos y ponernos al dĂa.
This Thursday, July 31, was our first day. We had to take the Biochemistry II course, which is part of the general cycle in our curriculum, and we are happy because we are getting closer to finishing it. We are always grateful that our university offers us this opportunity to take intensive courses, because other universities don't do that, and it takes a little longer.
Our schedule for this subject is from 10:10 AM to 11:30 AM. I went with my friend Dinalba, who lives nearby, and we all met there. I hadn't seen my friends since the last day of classes, more than a month ago, so it was a lot of fun to see them again and catch up.
Mà amigo Gabriel me regaló unos platanitos porque cumplà años el 24 de julio y no pudimos vernos, soy de las que cumple en vacaciones y no me celebran nada ni en la universidad, ni cuando iba al colegio o secundaria, un poco triste supongo.
Mà amiga Arslens también me hizo llegar unos stickers para pegar en el cuaderno con Gabriel, los amé todos, ella no pudo asistir porque está de viaje, pero pronto nos veremos, eso espero, porque la extrañé.
My friend Gabriel gave me some plantain chips because it was my birthday on July 24, and we couldn't see each other. I'm one of those people who has a birthday during vacation and no one celebrates it, not at university, not when I was in school or high school. It's a little sad, I guess.
My friend Arslens also sent me some stickers to put in my notebook with Gabriel. I loved them all. She couldn't attend because she's traveling, but we'll see each other soon, I hope, because I missed her.

Tuvimos una intensa clase de BioquĂmica, esto es un poco tedioso, pero nada del otro mundo, hablar de glucosa, enzimas y sus estructuras, todo bien.
DespuĂ©s de la clase nos fuimos al cafetĂn para comer algo y seguir chismeando.
We had an intense biochemistry class. It's a bit tedious, but nothing out of the ordinary, talking about glucose, enzymes, and their structures. Everything was fine.
After class, we went to the cafeteria to eat something and continue gossiping.

Pese a que es algo dificil esto de ver clases en vacaciones, cuando solo quieres descansar o, en mi caso, dedicarte a trabajar a tiempo completo, igual siempre intentamos aprovechar esta oportunidad de adelantar esas materias, además, mis amigos lo hacen todo un poco más llevadero y divertido, espero que este mes pase rápido y que aprobemos todo.
Although it's a bit difficult to attend classes during the holidays when you just want to rest or, in my case, work full-time, we always try to take advantage of this opportunity to get ahead in these subjects. Besides, my friends make it all a bit more bearable and fun. I hope this month goes by quickly and that we pass everything.
