Without walls listening to the silence | PhotoFeed Contest Cityscape Photography Round 137 [EN/ES]

I've never fired
a shotgun,
I never would.
The pellets hurt
like the loneliness
you shout from the rooftops.

I could never embalm
spider webs
or sparrows,
nor would I.
Don't tell me sparrows
have nothing to do with spiders.

Then,
you'll never know
about rooms without walls
or pellets.

Walls that smell of you
that taste of you
because yours is the salt
that flows from my hands.

The clocks stop
and the walls no longer exist.
Only our bodies exist
beyond our bodies.

Only the sparrow himself
could see me
behind the mask
while my face
tattooed on the wall
the blood of the lilies
that my hands left
at the foot of your bed.

And we met in that story
where eagles flew together
and your feathers were mine
to caress your lips
and be left without walls
listening to the silence.

Nunca he disparado
una escopeta de cartuchos,
jamás lo hiciera.
Los perdigones duelen
como duele la soledad
que gritas a los cuatro vientos.

Nunca pude embalsamar
las telas de araña
o los gorriones,
tampoco lo hiciera.
No me digas que los gorriones
no tienen que ver con las arañas.

Entonces,
no sabrás nunca
de cuartos sin paredes
ni de perdigones.

Paredes que huelen a ti
que saben a ti
porque tuya es la sal
que brota de mis manos.

Se detienen los relojes
y las paredes ya no existen.
Solo existen nuestros cuerpos
más allá de nuestros cuerpos.

Sólo el mismo gorrión
pudo verme
detrás de la máscara
mientras mi rostro
tatuaba en la pared
la sangre de las azucenas
que mis manos dejaron
a los pies de tu cama.

Y nos conocimos en aquella historia
donde las águilas volaban juntas
y tus plumas eran las mías
para acariciar tus labios
y quedarme sin paredes
escuchando el silencio.
