The flowers were for Athena / Writing Contest Finish the Tale. Story #8 [Eng-Esp]

The moment I pressed 'send' I knew I had made a terrible mistake.
I put my phone away and prepared to try something new.
The girl waiting behind the bouquet looked at me in dismay. I'd told her what had happened, and while she was organizing the flowers to prepare the order I'd placed, she shared her impressions, not without a mischievous smile that, instead of reassuring me, actually made me feel uncertain.
The flowers were for Athena. I wanted to surprise her after the last altercation with her husband in the Senate, and even more so after the message I'd just mistakenly sent her.
I don't know why the girl at the sales stand seemed to know nothing would turn out the way I'd thought.
Some time has passed, and now I'm remembering that moment. It was definitely a mistake to buy those flowers. Or not.

En el momento en que presioné "enviar" supe que había cometido un terrible error.
Guardé el teléfono y me dispuse a intentar alguna solución.
Me miraba consternada la muchacha que esperaba tras el ramo de flores. Le había contado lo que sucedió y, mientras organizaba las flores para preparar el pedido que le hice, me contaba sus impresiones, no sin dejar escapar alguna sonrisa pícara que, en vez de tranquilizarme, me provocó realmente una sensación de incertidumbre.
Las flores, eran para Atenea. Quería sorprenderle luego del último altercado con su esposo en el senado, y mucho más luego del mensaje que le acabo de enviar erróneamente.
La muchacha del puesto de venta, no sé por qué, pero me daba la impresión de saber que nada saldría como yo pensaba.
Ha transcurrido un tiempo y ahora es que recuerdo ese instante. Definitivamente fue un error comprar esas flores. O no.
