Tasting Canada and Mexico through beer! | The #BeerSaturday Challenge Week 434

Hello beer lovers at hive!

The morning passes, the weather is perfect before the storm that's approaching our country, and we're eager to break our routine.

Ice-cold beers, accompanied by a few peanut capsules to warm up our stomachs.

Moosehead, a lager brewed in Canada, is very pleasant for its fresh flavor and its texture on the palate, with a balance between the sweetness of the barley and the bitterness of the hops it contains. It can be a good option to anticipate a day with more offerings.

This brand is unique in that it won a gold medal at the World Beer Cup in 2003 and the World Selection in 2005, which confirms its quality, thus honoring the tradition of one of Canada's oldest family breweries, with six generations of history and founded in 1867.

The peanuts, I confess, add an interesting touch.

After a few hours of jokes and the occasional story, we decided to go to a restaurant for lunch to try something different. There, the beer was from a different brand, with a different flavor, different characteristics...

Moyoc, a lager of Mexican origin, with a slight similarity to the Cristal beer from our country, is much more pleasantly received to prepare us for lunch.

Also refreshing, necessary even in the heat that beats down on us, its bitter taste with subtle reference to fruity and citrus textures and the consistency of its foam in a minimal balance, is well received to liven up the moment.

Of course, being here and not thinking about Hive is difficult; it's become a habit since we discovered it. Here you can see @lizandra, perhaps trying to save a photo to give us for a later post, who knows. For now, I didn't miss the opportunity to capture the moment.

We pour ourselves a new glass, take a sip, and discuss other stories... Lunch has been served, and I have to say goodbye for now.

I'd like to take this opportunity to invite @les90 to share some of his experiences while drinking beer with us!

Until next time, toast and a Saturday full of beers, everyone, receive a hug of light!

Cheers!

The "other flavor" we pair with beer is important. I've never tried it paired with peanuts, but for me the perfect pairing is drinking beer while eating pizza—not much of either, just a beer—Zulua, it must be Zulia, which has no bitterness at all—and this combination is so delicious that if I eat pizza alone, I feel like I'm missing the beer, and if I drink beer alone... I feel incomplete without the pizza.
I'll try it paired with peanuts the first time I get the chance. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest and many more blessings.

Peanut is a gift of winter and it is used as a sweet. In our country, people eat it with enthusiasm and also make jaggery etc. with it. Book is used to further enhance its sweetness. I think it is better to eat it alone.
