Sitting, like someone waiting [EN/ES]
A picture is worth a thousand words, and a thousand words require silence, the caress of someone who accompanies you without speaking but embraces you when you need it.
On many occasions, we've been alone, lost, frozen in time. Other times, someone suffers the same thing, and no one embraces them or approaches them to say, I'm here to be with you if you need me.
I've seen people like this, and for one of them, I wrote this poem that I'm showing you as part of the initiative that @freewritehouse is giving us this week. The image used is a requirement of the call itself.
To you, whoever you are who suffers in silence.
I live in a place surrounded by steps
where time sometimes stands still.
A little girl hangs her dreams.
She doesn't know it, but I've seen her
stroking butterflies in hopscotch.
I wonder,
unwillingly,
what it would be like to draw smiles on her?
I have no idea if she likes hopscotch
or if the dreams are
too obvious
because of the gesture above the clouds.
I've seen her, and that's what matters.
Even if she's just a little girl
sitting,
like someone waiting.

Me pregunto,

What's the being blocked message about?
The poem has something although if short it isn't nice to read the same word twice. It takes some magic out of the reading.
Hello.
I don't understand what you mean.
Apparently you didn't like my poem, I suppose.
The repetition of words is a literary device that is justified in this case.
But if you didn't like it, I respect it. It's your opinion, and every opinion is worthy of respect. In any case, I appreciate you stopping to read.
Best regards.
Apparently you don't understand what I said. I respect that
