Santa Clara has its mysteries | My contribution to the #funkyframefriday challenge [EN/ES]

Hello, musical beings who enlighten us!

Today, I'm bringing you an intimate space to share in tune with the Round 11 Music Photo Contest, which responds to this new initiative that @powerpaul and the @hive-143104 community always bring us.

Santa Clara has its mysteries. A few days ago, I was talking with a friend about what those mysteries might be that attract so many people from the island and beyond, that mystique that, even for some residents, was hard to leave behind.

We can't find the exact answer. But there is something that no other city in the world has, I dare say, and that is the diversity of activities with immeasurable talent.

The sad thing about all this is that many of these activities take place with limited audiences, despite the quality they offer.

For example, today I bring you this music and poetry festival featuring two of the finest national voices we could ever have the privilege of enjoying.

On the one hand, Leonardo García, troubadour, bolero singer, a musician of such uniqueness that he has won the most important awards in Cuban music.

At his side was Arístides Vega Chapú, one of those great poets with the ability to command a space like no other with his anecdotes and high-caliber wisdom.

This club paid tribute to Sigfredo Ariel, a former poet and music producer from the island whose importance has yet to be fully revealed. Boleros and songs were sung to him with a sensitivity that made your skin crawl, while Arístides shared some fun experiences he had with him.

Here, the audience didn't matter whether it consisted of one person or a million. The energy we experienced still lingers in our hearts, and that's how I wanted to share it with you.

And so, until the next concert, a hug of light to everyone!

¡Hola seres musicales que nos iluminan!

Hoy les acerco a un espacio íntimo para compartir a tono con el Concurso de Fotografía Musical Ronda #11 que responde a esta nueva iniciativa que siempre nos traen @powerpaul y la comunidad @hive-143104.

Santa Clara tiene sus misterios. Hace unos días, dialogaba con una amiga sobre cuáles podrían ser esos misterios que atraen a tantas personas de la isla y de otras latitudes, esa mística que, incluso para algunos residentes, era difícil dejar atrás.

La respuesta, no la encontramos con exactitud. Pero sí hay algo que no tiene otra ciudad, me atrevería a decir que en el mundo, y es la diversidad de actividades con un talento inconmensurable.

Lo triste de todo esto, es que, muchas de esas actividades se materializan con escasa presencia de público, a pesar de la calidad que ofrecen.

Por ejemplo, hoy les traigo a esta peña de música y poesía protagonizada por dos de las mejores voces nacionales que pudiéramos tener el privilegio de disfrutar.

Por un lado, Leonardo García, trovador, bolerista, músico de una singularidad que le ha llevado a ganar los premios más importantes en la música cubana.

A su lado, Arístides Vega Chapú, uno de esos grandes poetas con la capacidad de conducir espacios como nadie con sus anécdotas y sapiencia de altos kilates.

En esta peña se rindió homenaje a Sigfredo Ariel, otrora poeta y productor musical de la isla cuya trascendencia aún está por divulgar en su justa medida. Se le cantaron boleros y canciones con una sensibilidad que erizaba la piel, mientras Arístides nos contaba experiencias divertidas que ha podido vivir junto a él.

Acá el público daba igual estuviese compuesto por una o un millón de personas, la energía que se vivió aún permanece dando vueltas por nuestra piel y así he querido compartirla con ustedes.
