Rock and roll forever! | Phone Photography Contest - #102 [EN-ES]

A few days ago we were able to enjoy a rock concert in the Patio de Teresita, an iconic cafeteria of the Mejunje Cultural Center, a place that has always hosted this cultural manifestation to the delight of those of us who enjoy it.

The concert came about as a tribute to the passing of two musicians who were historically very popular within this movement and whom I loved dearly as they were my friends. I will speak about that at another time.

As you can see, today I focused on sharing the faces of those who attended this event, faces that I decided to capture with my lens because they are expressions that cannot be erased by time, they are diverse and genuine expressions that show something indescribable beyond the simple pleasure of singing, playing a musical instrument or dancing to the rhythm of the most strident chords.

I've missed these spaces, these magical moments where you can see how happiness can also come from letting go of energy.

Notice how many expressions, how many faces are involved and disconnect from the world...

Faces that also reflect uncertainty about what to do in an environment that may be new to them, while others come and go as they please.

So, encouraging you not to remain stagnant, I send each of you a hug of light!

Hace pocos días pudimos disfrutar de un concierto de rock en el Patio de Teresita, cafetería icónica del Centro Cultural Mejunje, sitio que acoge desde siempre a esta manifestación cultural para beneplácito de quienes la disfrutamos.

El concierto pudo concretarse como homenaje al fallecimiento de dos músicos de gran popularidad histórica dentro de este movimiento y a quienes quise mucho pues eran amigos míos. De ello hablaré en otro momento.

Como pueden apreciar, hoy me centré en compartirles los rostros de quienes asistieron a este espacio, rostros que decidí capturar con el lente porque son expresiones que no pueden disolverse en el tiempo, son expresiones diversas y genuinas que muestran algo indescriptible más allá del simple gusto por cantar, tocar un instrumento musical o bailar al ritmo de los acordes más estridentes.

Ya extrañaba estos espacios, estos momentos mágicos donde se comprueba cómo también se puede ser feliz descargando energías.

Noten cuántas expresiones, cuántos rostros se implican y desconectan del mundo...

Rostros que también muestran el no saber qué hacer en un entorno novedoso tal vez para ellos, mientras otros van y se cruzan en el camino.
