Imagining a better world on the way [EN-ES]

Hello, dear #wednesdaywalk friends!

We're delighted to return once again to this #WednesdayWalk initiative, where @tattoodjay invites us to share our journey along the way!

Today I woke up with the melody of Imagine, John Lennon's iconic song, in my head. Maybe it's the desire to smile despite the sadness that embraces me, the longing to overcome the pain, or simply the hope that the world will be a little better every day. I don't know, the point is that I decided to get dressed and go out for a walk, as every Wednesday deserves, in search of new light and smiles.

And look what life brings...

Chance made my legs carry me through the streets that meet Abbey Road Park, also known as Beatles Park. A newly remodeled park that takes on a vitality that is appreciated by those who visit it.

With a simple design that plays with pop art and a touch of tradition and modernity, open-air, it is a plaza where diverse concerts are held by groups that keep alive the legacy of blues, jazz, music from the 1960s, 1970s and especially the eternal music of The Beatles, to the delight of those of us who admire these styles and everything they entail.

I won't describe the place much further. I'll sit for a while and imagine the band playing while you delight in the images that show every detail...

And then, as if we were diving into a yellow submarine, I let my heart fly until the next Wednesday meeting.

¡Nuevamente regresamos con todo gusto a esta iniciativa de #WednesdayWalk en la que @tattoodjay nos invita a compartir nuestro transitar en el camino!

Hoy amanecí con la melodía de Imagine, canción icónica de John Lennon, en mi cabeza. Tal vez es el deseo de intentar sonreír a pesar de la tristeza que me abraza, el anhelo por sobreponerme al dolor, o sencillamente la esperanza de que el mundo sea cada vez un poco mejor. No sé, la cuestión es que decidí vestirme y salir a la calle a caminar, como todo miércoles merece, en busca de nuevas luces y sonrisas.

Y miren qué cosas trae la vida...

La causalidad hizo que mis piernas me llevaran por las calles que inciden con el Parque Abbey Road, llamado también Parque Los Beatles. Un parque recién remodelado que cobra una vitalidad que se agradece por quienes lo visitan.

Con un diseño simple, que juega con el arte pop y un toque de tradición y modernidad, a cielo abierto, constituye una plaza donde se llevan a cabo disímiles conciertos de grupos que mantienen vivo el legado del blues, el jazz, la música de las décadas de 1960, 1970 y principalmente la música perpetua de The Beatles para beneplácito de quienes admiramos estos estilos y todo lo que ello provoca.

No describiré mucho más el lugar. Me sentaré un rato a imaginar que la banda está tocando mientras ustedes se deleitan contemplando las imágenes que muestran cada detalle...

Y entonces, como si nos sumergiéramos en un submarino amarillo, dejo volar a mi corazón hasta un próximo encuentro de miércoles.
