Don't invite anyone back

at those who offer you their breast.
My breast carries your spear,
the pain of thirst,
the pain of blood,
and the betrayal of the last supper.
I at least came to live.
I offer my thirst
and the salt
that is tasted in the bite,
for the simple sin
of giving you
my breath.
