Don't write about tears
beneath the rock,
buried trees
in the song,
the blues,
boleros,
word and sentence
of the condemned on the road.
Write about collateral damage in the word,
in the sentence
and the sanity of the condemned,
on the song or the rock.
The rock is my tear upon the tree.
The sentence,
words.
No escribas sobre lágrimas
No escribas sobre lágrimas
debajo de la roca,
árboles sepultados
en la canción,
el blues,
boleros,
palabra y sentencia
de los condenados en el camino.
Escribe sobre daños colaterales en la palabra,
en la sentencia
y la cordura de los condenados,
