Coffe and Friendships

I am very happy because, after a long time, but so long that I do not know how many months have passed and that's not to say years, because I know it has not been so many years without seeing my friend @crisch23

She had come to Apure on several occasions and had been communicating with me to meet, but, it happened that I was quite complicated by work issues because in the mornings I was at school and in the afternoon at my other job, so it was quite difficult to meet to share a nice coffee.

The last few times I met with @crisch23, she always invited me to her house to try the delicious coffee with milk that they prepare there, but, the truth is that I wanted to invite her somewhere here in Apure to try the coffee in a different and nice place to talk for a while and, this time due to issues of going for a walk also with her daughter, we ended up stopping at a business called CHELLO.

Being very honest, I am from here, and I live here, I had not taken the time to visit this place in advance and my plan was to take her to one of the branches of Migas, but we ended up here in CHELLO and what a great opportunity for me, because I was going to try a different coffee and to have the experience of comparing the taste with the other business.

This place is quite spacious, a very cool, calm and pleasant atmosphere and has a good view of the avenue.

Something that I really liked about the place and that I had not seen in any of the places I have visited is that in a corner of the tables they have a QR code to scan and this serves to see the menu, which is quite varied though and I feel that the prices are quite good and, possibly I will return to the place to try a Frappuccino later.

For this opportunity Crisch and I ordered a Café con Leche Grande for each of us and for dessert we ordered a single piece of chocolate cake and, I must say that this was our best option because we did not find something more interesting to accompany the coffee at this time and well, I think we both agreed that we did not want something so sweet because we are taking care of our health, but, we had to take advantage of this type of meetings, since there are very few times we get to see each other so it was worth it to get out of the routine for a while.

The latte had a very good flavor, although it was not something extraordinary or different from what I had tasted at some point, what I must say is that it was tasty because it had a lot of foam and, something that I found very strange was that they did not deliver it without the sugar sachets or any container that contained sugar so that one could add it to taste and really if Crisch does not mention this, we do not notice it at the time and I think this is a bit serious because it should arrive or be on the table without the customer asking for it and, well, this is the first time that this happens to me since I visit places to drink, I think this is a little embarrassing because it should arrive or be on the table without the client asking for it and, well, this is the first time this has happened to me since I have been visiting places to drink coffee.

Honestly, the combination of the sweetness of the cake with the unsweetened coffee with milk was very good because the flavors combined perfectly on the palate and, I really liked the cake because the sponge cake was fluffy, loose, with a good chocolate flavor and, because of the shape of our order, it was not cloying.

Although, we realized that this piece of chocolate is made with the same mixture with which they make the chocolate brownies that they serve with 2 scoops of ice cream.

To be honest, the place is very nice and I can not complain about the service because we were served very well, the only thing is that I think that because of its brand and logo, it offers very little variety of coffee in its menu and offers few options to accompany a good coffee, although, we must consider that we are practically on Easter vacations and I do not know if maybe it is due to the dates.

Well, I must say that the only special thing about this great place is the great company I had and that I was really happy to see crisch again and talk to her about our lives and catch up on economic issues, the dollar management here in Apure and there in Valencia, as well as our working lives.

I sincerely hope to have the opportunity to meet Crisch again, either in Valencia or here in Apure, but this time I am going to take her to my favorite place so I feel I can invite her to taste something delicious.
