View of places in Kuala Lumpur
I haven't been posting regularly for quite some time. The truth is, I am having a really tight schedule and am currently juggling two jobs to manage my upcoming financial challenges. Hopefully, things will get better in these few weeks.
Those aside, below are pictures of places that I visited last week
Merdeka 118
This is Malaysia’s newest and most iconic tower, Merdeka 118. The design of the tower was inspired by Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman's hand gesture during the declaration of independence in 1957
Also, the '118' in Merdeka 118 refers to the total number of floors in the building
View from Abdullah Hukum Train Station
Abdullah Hukum train station was officially opened to the public just a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. The station is strategically located and provides easy and direct access to Mid Valley City, The Gardens Mall, and KL Eco City areas.
KL Tower
As of today, I have only been to the tower once with my family during our short vacation. KL Tower, also known as Kuala Lumpur Tower, was built as a telecommunications tower. Standing at 421 meters tall, it is recognized as the world's seventh-tallest tower.
Publika Shoping Gallery
My office is located next to Publika Shopping Gallery, but not much that I know about this place since the nature of my job requires me to travel constantly. It is located in Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur. Also, the design is more towards an open-concept design than the typical conventional malls.
Restaurant at Shah Alam
It was the weekend, and I stumbled upon this restaurant when I was looking for a place for lunch. The food was affordable and nice. The restaurant owner decorated their restaurant with a cozy home vibe.
Malaysia has a lot of beautiful places to go to. I have never been there yet, so thanks to your blog, you are making me think of visiting Malaysia one day. 🙂
You're most welcome to visit Kuala Lumpur 😁
I just went there last week .. There are many beautiful places that I have not visited.
many years ago I think I was in the KL tower. Is that near Petronas? I think what happened was I wanted to go to the observation deck in the twin towers but tickets were sold out and they directed us to KL tower. It was a highlight of my visit and definitely worth the price of admission.
Wow, thanks for sharing these awesome snapshots of Kuala Lumpur! Merdeka 118 is truly impressive, and I love how it connects to Malaysia’s history.
