Trying the viral flavored fries by Potato Corner

Malaysia is well known for its variety of food, and almost every month there will be a new food that goes viral on social media. Whenever there are foods, drinks, desserts, or other similar things that goes viral, I would not be joining the hype-train.

Recently, there has been a new food that goes viral which is the flavored fries by Potato Corner. The nearest outlet is at Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. If were not for my daughters, I would not go there just solely for the flavored fries.

My daughter, especially the youngest one loves fries. She could eat only fries for dinner and she has been wanting to try the flavored fries for quite some time now. Sunway Pyramid is not that far from my house. It is around 20 minutes of driving. Sometimes more depending on the traffic.

Since it was Christmas, the traffic heading to Sunway Pyramid was bad. So does the parking. After few rounds of searching, we couldn't manage to find a parking spot within the mall. The options that I have is to park outside of the mall, and then walked for about 200 meters from the parking.

Upon entering Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, we straight away head to the ground floor. There is where Potato Corner is located. From the entrance to the outlet, it is another 5 minutes of walking.

When we arrived at the Potato Corner outlet, the queue was really long. My wife and youngest daughter waited in line for almost 20 minutes. Once she has gotten to the front of the queue, she asked my youngest daugther what flavor does she wanted.

Since this is her first time ordering at Potato Corner, she said that she wanted to try all of the flavor, and she wanted the largest size available. My wife then proceeded to order the Tera size with all of the flavor.

I take a look at the menu and I can see there were 5 size to choose from. There are large, jumbo, mega, giga and tera. While for flavor, there are 4 to choose from which is cheese, BBQ, chili BBQ, and sour cream.

We did not order anything else other than the flavored fries. The total for one Tera size flavored fries was MYR 23.50.

After making the payment, the cashier told us that we need to wait for another 1 hour while they preparing our order. Waiting for 1 hour may seem lengthy, but given that day was the Christmas festive occasion, the waiting time is justifiable.

We did not wait at the outlet, instead we went to Mynews and bought few drinks. Then we went to the sitting area outside of Sunway Pyramid. We drank our drinks and waited there before coming back inside an hour later.

By the time we reach back at Potato Corner, our number was called. It is great because we can eat the fries while it is still fresh from the fryer. This is what I called as a delicious twist of fate
