DIY-greeting card for lovers
Hello everyone how are you all doing today, I guess your day is moving on smoothly.
I never knew there was a contest in DIY community but while I was checking for where to post I saw a DIY contest so I wanted to participate as well.
Here is a card for the loved ones and it is my entry for the contest. I am glad to participate in this contest because I love anything that has to do with love.
Materials used are:
Cardboard (different colors)
Pen
Scissors
Gum
Watercolor
Brown paper
Procedure
I cut a rectangle shape from the brown paper and I also a square shape from yellow cardboard. I gum the two of them together and put it on one side to dry.
I made use of a pen to draw a love shape on cardboard in different colors. And made use of scissors to cut the shape out.
I made use of a pen to draw a star shape on the brown paper and I made use of scissors to cut it out.
I rub gum on the edges of the star then fold it up to form a envelope.
I rubbed gum at the back of the envelope and gum it on one side of the rectangle shape.
I rubbed gum on each love shape and I started to gum it on the rectangle shape, I gum one inside the envelope as if the love was pouring out from it.
Then I gum some love shapes at each edge of the rectangle.
I cut a tiny line then gum it on the envelope, I fold another line then gum it on a straight line.
Lastly, I made use of a pen to write something on the space.
The greeting card is ready, I hope you like it and I also hope to participate in more contests.
This was really easy to follow and simple to understand
