Happy 2026, dear Hive Open Mic community! I wholeheartedly wish you a year full of abundant blessings and many enjoyable adventures. Lately, I have been suffering from chronic laryngitis, which seems to be caused by allergies. This situation has kept me away from singing and Hive in general, but I didn't hesitate to participate with an original song in this special week in which we reached 300 editions. What pride and satisfaction for all of us who are part of this wonderful musical community.
I’m pleased to share with you this original song inspired by the beginning of the new year. It is the start of a new stage in which we can dream and work for the good in our lives, moving forward with our projects, and why not, allowing ourselves to be surprised from time to time by what is just around the corner, with great hope and faith in God, who always wants the best for his children.
The piece I bring you today is an acoustic pop song called “Apuesta a tu Corazón” (Bet on Your Heart), composed in the key of D major for the verses and E minor for the choruses, accompanying the voice and guitar with percussion eggs and congas. I hope you enjoy this performance, made with the utmost affection.
¡Feliz año 2026, querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic! De todo corazón les deseo un año lleno de abundantes bendiciones y muchas aventuras agradables. En los últimos tiempos he estado afectada de la garganta con una laringitis crónica que parece tener un origen alérgico, esta situación me ha alejado un poco del canto y de Hive en general, sin embargo, no dudé en participar con una canción original en esta semana especial en la que llegamos a las 300 ediciones. Qué orgullo y qué satisfacción para todos los que hacemos parte de esta maravillosa comunidad musical.
Me agrada poder compartir con ustedes esta canción original inspirada en el inicio del nuevo año. Es el comienzo de una nueva etapa en la que podemos soñar y obrar para bien en nuestra vida, sacando adelante nuestros proyectos, y por qué no, dejándonos sorprender de vez en cuando por lo que está a la vuelta de la esquina, con mucha esperanza y fe en Dios, que quiere siempre lo mejor para sus hijos.
La pieza que les traigo hoy se trata de una canción de estilo pop en versión acústica que lleva por nombre “Apuesta a tu Corazón”, y está compuesta en el tono de RE mayor para las estrofas y MI menor en los coros, acompañando la voz y guitarra con huevos percusivos y congas. Espero que les guste esta presentación hecha con el mayor cariño.
