Birthday Weekend and Christmas Decoration

Hello, friends of Weekend Experiences! It's a pleasure to be with you once again, this time to share a little about my weekend, which was marked not only by putting up Christmas decorations at home but also by celebrating my birthday.

Like most people, I consider birthday to be a special occasion when we receive congratulations, good vibes, and affection from our loved ones and closest friends. This case was no exception, as my family, both those at home and those who live out, were with me, giving me gifts, preparing a delicious lunch, and even the traditional cake. Without a doubt, material gifts are very nice and appreciated, because who doesn't like to receive gifts? However, I consider the best gift to be the company and quality time that these people dedicate to being with us, sharing a good conversation, listening to our favorite music, and enjoying the presence of those we love.

Speaking of the gifts I received, it is worth mentioning a capybara-themed T-shirt, which is my favorite animal, and it also came in a color that I didn't have in my wardrobe, something that I really loved. I also received a picture of my favorite anime, Kimetsu no Yaiba, with a spectacular design that I will put in my room. On the other hand, I was given some beautiful earrings with butterfly details that I really liked.

As I have been trying to take care of my health lately, not only with good nutrition and exercise but also with supplements recommended by my doctor, I asked that if anyone wanted to give me a gift, it should be something useful and necessary for my well-being. And that's how it was. I now have all my supplements, which makes me very happy.

Lunch consisted of chicken breast skewers, garlic chorizo, spicy chorizo, zucchini, peppers, and onions that were finger-licking good, accompanied by chicken wings, which are not my favorite, but are loved by most of those present, boiled cassava, and guasacaca sauce. Everything was delicious and made with a lot of love.

Since my mom insists on putting up Christmas decorations and the tree every year starting in October, I got to work on that on my birthday. I set up the tree, which in this case we bought a smaller one, and we also bought a smaller, more minimalist version of the nativity scene, because I believe that beauty can also be found in simplicity. I also decorated the front door and the window facing the street. All of this gives the house a festive and cheerful atmosphere, which brings a sense of well-being and comfort to the whole family.
