Happy week, Hive Open Mic community! As always, it’s a pleasure to join all of you in this Web3 musical showcase. For Week 310, our theme is “Emotion”, a perfect topic for reflection.
To me, emotions are a mix of all kinds of feelings, ranging from positive to neutral and negative. Among the positive ones are joy, love, happiness, and the satisfaction of feeling fulfilled in various aspects of life. The neutral ones include boredom, indifference, and a lack of motivation; and the negative ones are those that end up causing a lot of harm, such as hatred, resentment, jealousy, and envy, among others. It’s important to learn how to manage these emotions and achieve a maturity that allows us to lead a balanced life.
Today, I present the song “Tell Me Why,” performed by the British pop group Spice Girls, from their album Forever, released in 2000. This song conveys precisely the feeling of uncertainty and conflicting emotions we experience when we ask ourselves why a relationship that was going well suddenly changed and is heading toward collapse. It’s normal for the person affected to ask themselves many questions and search for reasons behind what they consider an unexpected event with no apparent explanation. I hope you enjoy this presentation.

Las emociones para mí son un cumulo de sentimientos de todo tipo, desde los positivos, pasando por los neutros y llegando a los negativos. Entre los positivos tenemos la alegría, el amor, el gozo, la satisfacción de sentirnos realizados en varios aspectos. Los neutros incluyen el aburrimiento, la indiferencia y la falta de motivación; y los negativos son aquellos que terminan haciendo mucho daño, como lo son el odio, el resentimiento, los celos, la envidia, entre otros. Es importante aprender a gestionar estas emociones y lograr una madurez que nos permita llevar una vida equilibrada.
El día de hoy, les presento la canción Tell Me Why, interpretada por el grupo de pop británico Spice Girls, perteneciente a su álbum Forever, lanzado en el año 2000. Esta canción nos transmite precisamente el sentimiento de incertidumbre y emociones encontradas al preguntarnos por qué un amor que estaba funcionando bien de repente cambió y se encamina a la debacle. Es normal que la persona afectada se haga muchas preguntas y busque razones a lo que ella considera un evento inesperado y sin explicación aparente. Espero que esta presentación sea de su agrado.
