I think I asked the right person.
I know/knew so little about wallets, and that’s typical for me. I can’t balance a checkbook. So many checks bounced during the first decade of my adult life! Money and me do not jibe.
You can unsolicitly advise me any time. The bag of nickels has earned you my trust, for what that is worth:)

You now know everything I know about Hive.

As for the nickels, you didn't mind that they were unartfully sent to you in a baggie, wrapped up with a rubber band? I agonized over that for a while. Tried putting them in a small ball jar, but that wouldn't fit in the box. Looked for ribbon to gussy them up, and found I had none. Considered making a drawing to go along with them. Finally decided the concept was the art and off it went to you.

Your trust means a lot to me!!!

No, I didn’t mind. In fact, they’re already tucked away in my latest “career box”. It’s where all my accolades reside. These boxes go to posterity, along with just a few paintings. The rest need to be culled asap:)

Culled. How does an artist live with that word? Have those that are to be saved been identified already?

My nickels are earmarked for posterity? You could buy half a cup of coffee with them.

Ha! I’ll forgo the coffee for memories and gobble someone else’s chocolate for the caffeine.
I’m a mix between painter and knapsack monk. I see both lives in me, and less baggage means more empty knapsack.
Keeping my work around is too much an outward expression of an inner vanity, and sometimes that depresses me. I’m the same with all my possessions/shackles.
