Windows 7 was basically a necessity for 64-bit systems and greater than 4GB RAM support though. Windows XP 64-bit had poor driver support. Having said that, a better supported Win XP 64-bit would have been awesome.
Especially with Windows 10 the constant updates and the bloat is so annoying. When it was first released, it ran acceptably with a mechanical hard drive and 4 GB of RAM. Today it's pretty brutal without at least 8 GB and an SSD.
AHAHA! XP LOL
Nah...
LOL.. Why not?
It was good XD. The system requirements were minimal. I think a lot of people are saying that 7 is the best.
If you knew Linux by then, then you wouldn't say so.
7 was horrible! 8 A DISASTER!
NT was better than XP...
10 probably the best accounting time... 11 we will see...
Yeah. I wasn't familiar with Linux back then. It cannot be compared with Windows.
After using Linux, I wouldn't compare it to iOS or Windows.
I have used NT. But, for a really short period of time. But, you might be right.
Let's see what others think.
So far, XP is in the lead. LOL
Windows XP with Windows 7 being a close second. Windows 95 was the biggest leap over its predecessor though.
I guess the dropped started after XP. Vista is partly responsible for making Windows 7 have a better image in the market.
But, their system started demanding too many resources after XP.

Agree. The support of 64bit was a necessity. But, I have a sense that old Operating Systems have less issues than newer versions.

Totally agree! It feels that it has a good number of bloat in it.
