"My Version Of The Famous Filipino Dish PORK HUMBA(Braised Pork) Sweeter More Savory Melt In Your Mouth"
Hello food lover’s! Hi to all my dear friends here on hive! How was your Tuesday? Here in my place it has been raining since Sunday evening up to now so we decided that we would stay home, do our house chores, cook, eat and do my blog. Well, as a mom of two teenagers it's very different now. When they were children’s everything that I would cook and feed them they would eat but that was before now they were teenagers they would request what they would want to eat. Else they would ignore the food and would just sprinkles Milk Powder on their Rice just to have something on their tummy. To make sure they would eat well, I asked them what dish they want me to cook so they do not have reasons to complain nor ignore the dish. I told them to go then look on the refrigerator check what we have, look at what are the ingredients there and what dish we can cook based on what we have. Luckily we have pork and spices so my eldest and youngest daughter agreed that we would have Humba for lunch and dinner.
Pork Humba is a sweeter more savory, very famous dish in the Philippines, a dish made from braised pork and spices. Melt-in your mouth Humba. This dish is very famous especially to the Bisaya tribe. The Bisaya tribe are the people living in Visayas. The Philippines is an archipelago and has Seven Thousand six hundred forty one(7,641) islands that are clustered Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We have exactly One Hundred Ten tribes (110).Bisaya is one big tribe. Pork Humba is a uniquely Filipino Dish that is particularly popular in the Visayas region. In every Bisayan celebration Pork Humba would always be on the table. Besides, there is also Humbang Tagalog, a version made of the Tagalog tribe living in Luzon.

We are alike. I like lean humba as it is more tasteful, and I can eat it with gusto. I have restrictions on fats as I only have one kidney, and aside from that, I am also a silver-slated woman. Fats and oils are not good for the elderly.🤗 Thanks for your flavorful him @ronimarie82.
True lean meat is more tasteful and it is healthy too.Hmm your still young my dear elder sister diosarich, only carabao goes old. Besides your too sexy and looks younger than your age. Thanks for stopping by my blog and stay healthy.
