Maintaining Hygiene Is A Key To Good Health.

Maintaining good hygiene is necessary for a healthy life. If we continue our daily activities with proper sanitation. Sanitation to me is a way of ensuring that the environment is clean 🫧 and safe at all times to prevent diseases and unhealthy habits. Just regular sweeping is one of the simple sanitation hacks I indulge in to ensure the environment is clean. Most people may not value this, but honestly, it is one of the things that we have to do regularly to keep the surroundings clean. I make sure that I sweep my house 🏠 and compound twice.

Apart from sweeping to keep the environment clean, I also wash my hands regularly with detergent or sanitizers, the best to make use of is sanitizers that contain antibacterial properties capable of causing all sorts of diseases. Making sure our hands are washed is important because, while going on with activities of the day, we come in contact with several kinds of bacteria 🦠 that are on the surface of the table, pen, staircase, etc.

I certainly agree that maintaining sanitation to the fullest would be a great way of reducing diseases as well as preventing them. There is something I regularly do with the space of every two days, i.e, washing my clothes, washing our clothes is necessary, and also making sure we wear clean clothes is important. I actually washed some of my clothes yesterday.

In the barracks, there is a live every Saturday, which is a clean-up. This is an avenue where everyone works together to maintain a healthy environment and lifestyle. Sanitation is not complete without the disposal of waste materials. My brother and I do this every Saturday or Friday; there is usually a set place where everyone goes to dispose of waste materials like used bags, sachets, and other sewage.

One of the other things which I do to make sure that hygiene is practiced is making sure that I keep the house clean at all times by sweeping mopping and dusting the furniture, I do this because I know how important hygiene is to fight against disease, hygiene also helps reduce sick individuals in the hospital, making the hospital a more convenience place for receiving treatment. One of the activities that I also do to make sure that I stay in good shape and maintain sanitation is fetching clean water always and avoiding drinking water that has been left open for minutes or hours. I do this because there might be tiny particles in the water that can cause me illness.

It's also important to stay healthy by making sure that we prepare good food in a clean and conducive environment, which includes making sure that the kitchen is in the right order, washing the plates before eating, and after eating, because when the place is left for a long time, it becomes contaminated by random particles from the air. Today I ate rice as lunch after the prayer service at our house. I followed this up with a drink, which was Sprite.
