Review of mini-series The Perfume, Netflix (Esp-Eng)

Hoy quiero hacer un resumen sobre una serie que ha llamado mi total atención, se trata del la mini serie El Perfume.

Resulta que hoy la ví completa, cada capítulo culminado me atrapaba y me fue llevando al siguiente.

Mini serie El Perfume

Al ver la fecha de estreno el la plataforma Netflix, año 2018. Dije dentro de mí, esto no puede ser posible,¿6 años de ser estrenada y yo no la había visto sinó hasta ahora que tengo Netflix?

Me disculpan pero es así, a penas tengo 5 días con Netflix en casa, pero entremos en el tema que me ocupa en esta publicación.

El Perfume tiene su origen en un libr o escrito por Patrick Süskind, un alemán y fue publicada en 1985 es decir hace 39 años y fue tan estupendo que hicieron una adaptación cinematográfica en el año 2006 donde quizás muchos la vieron y por esa razón se enteraron del libro.

Al ver el Tráiler oficial el cual inicia con un niño pelirojo que va corriendo con un mechón de cabello rojo y el viendo lo ondea, WOW.. dije, esto está muy interesante.

When I saw the release date on the Netflix platform, year 2018. I said inside me, this can't be possible, 6 years of being released and I had not seen it until now that I have Netflix?

You'll excuse me but that's the way it is, I barely have 5 days with Netflix at home, but let's get into the subject that occupies me in this publication.

Perfume has its origin in a book or written by Patrick Süskind, a German and was published in 1985 that is 39 years ago and was so great that they made a film adaptation in 2006 where perhaps many saw it and for that reason they learned about the book.

When I saw the official trailer which starts with a red-haired boy running with a lock of red hair and seeing him waving it, WOW... I said, this is very interesting.

Enseguida empecé a ver el primer capítulo llamado Ámbar Gris, en este capítulo empieza a desglosarse la historia que esconde esta serie.

Empieza con el asesinato de una mujer pelirroja, tal cuál como en el libro,pero esta mujer era una cantante que provocaba en los hombres las ganas de poseerla, era pura sensualidad y deseo carnal.

La mujer que todos querían poseer pero que no todos llegaron a tener, esta mujer en su juventud, hace 20 años estaba íntimamente ligada con 5 jóvenes de un orfanato católico.

Tras su muerte misteriosa y sádica,las autoridades empiezan a investigar.

En este punto el espectador se da cuenta que la serie llevará un rumbo distinto al del libro y película pero que se compaginan en ciertos puntos de la trama.

De hecho en uno de los capítulos la detective coloca la película en su computadora para ir entendiendo lo que sucede en su investigación.

Y es que toda la trama inicia cuando Elena, está leyendo muy entretenida y los chicos le preguntan qué lees? Ella muestra la portada del libro el Perfume y lo empieza a leer para ellos.

Aquí empiezan a imitar lo que señala el libro, se obsesionan aún más cuando se dan cuenta que los perfumes dan resultados.

Llevándolos a cometer errores que en la actualidad tendrían consecuencias penales.

La trama es cada vez más interesante cuando la detective también siente esa curiosidad sobre el poder de los perfumes, curiosamente la detective padece de anosmia, falta de olfato.

I immediately started watching the first chapter called Grey Amber, in this chapter begins to break down the story behind this series.

It begins with the murder of a red-haired woman, just like in the book, but this woman was a singer who provoked in men the desire to possess her, she was pure sensuality and carnal desire.

The woman that everyone wanted to possess but that not everyone got to have, this woman in her youth, 20 years ago was intimately linked with 5 young people from a catholic orphanage.

After her mysterious and sadistic death, the authorities begin to investigate.

At this point the viewer realizes that the series will take a different course than the book and movie but that they are compatible at certain points of the plot.

In fact, in one of the chapters the detective puts the movie on her computer to understand what is happening in her investigation.

And the whole plot starts when Elena is reading very entertaining and the kids ask her what are you reading? She shows the cover of the book Perfume and starts reading it to them.

Here they start to imitate what the book points out, becoming even more obsessed when they realize that perfumes work.

Leading them to make mistakes that nowadays would have criminal consequences.

The plot becomes more and more interesting when the detective also feels that curiosity about the power of perfumes, curiously the detective suffers from anosmia, lack of smell.

Algo que le dará ciertas ventaja a medida que transcurre la investigación.

Aspectos que me gustaron de la serie

• El nombre de ciertos capítulos tienen relación con ingredientes esenciales para hacer perfumes y a la vez se explica de qué se trata.

• El ámbar gris, el escatol y la tercera sustancia.*

• Cada personaje tiene su momento de contar su historia personal, sus traumas, lo que los transformó en lo que son ahora.

• El perfume atrapa a las personas, las personas sienten la necesidad de ser amadas y con esta sustancia lo pueden lograr, quién debe ser correcto termina corrompido por el hecho de tener querer el control de amor.

• La serie es impecable en sonido, imágenes, no hay censuras, por lo cuál debe ser vista por mayores se 18 años y se advierte de su contenido en la portada de la serie.

Aspects that I liked about the series.

• The name of certain chapters are related to essential ingredients to make perfumes and at the same time it is explained what they are.

*The ambergris, the eschatol and the third substance.

• Each character has his or her moment to tell their personal story, their traumas, what made them what they are now.

• The perfume traps people, people feel the need to be loved and with this substance they can achieve it, who should be correct ends up corrupted by the fact of having to want the control of love.

• The series is impeccable in sound, images, there is no censorship, so it should be seen by those over 18 years and warns of its content on the cover of the series.

Lo que no me gustó

El hecho de que tenga solo 6 episodios, 1 sola temporada y que ya en 6 años no hayan creado la segunda temporada.

La serie quedó lista para más temporadas porque a penas el perfumista consiguió la primera posición, la del Amor.

Además aún no se sabe quién es el asesino.

Guardo las esperanzas de que lancen pronto otra temporada, el con más episodios.

What I didn't like

The fact that it only has 6 episodes, only 1 season and that already in 6 years they didn't create the second season.

The series was for more seasons because the perfumer barely got the first post, Love.

Plus still no word on who the killer is.

I keep hoping that they will release another season soon, the one with more episodes.
