Hundred Islands: A Lost Paradise Where Your Longing Heart Can Find Home.

Philippines has lots to offer not just through cuisines, traditions, hospitable people and heritages, but above all the place itself. Since the Philippines is known to be an archipelago where large bodies of water surround it, we were blessed with lots of islands and beautiful beaches. Speaking of islands, there is this island located in Pangasinan, Philippines known as Hundred Islands National Park.

This tourist attraction has a breathtaking cluster of 123 islands scattered along the Lingayen Gulf, each of them with unique shapes, features, and beauty to offer. Indeed, nature can never fail us, there will always be that sort of awe that no one could ever give.

Moreso, these 123 islands were not all developed for tourist visitation. Few were owned by a private person where they used it for investment like building some rental house or a private resort to accommodate large numbers of tourists and also to offer other activities. Some islands also do not allow anyone to enter because they are preserving it.

But if you are planning to visit it, you can do island hopping tours where you can visit 4-7 islands in a day and each of these offers some sort of water activities like swimming, cliff diving, and kayaking. Or even do snorkeling and scuba diving if you want to explore the lush and healthy marine life including coral reefs.

On the other hand, if you want to experience ziplining you can go to the Governor’s island. I swear it is more beautiful than the other islands because in this place, you can see the panoramic view of other islands. And you will be amazed how God can do this and how He arranged all this to be so beautiful like this.

On the contrary, if you want to visit the statue of Jesus Christ you can also go to the pilgrimage island for sightseeing.
Indeed, Hundred Islands has a lot to offer-- you will surely not forget the place just like what this place did to me. I left my heart to the place I call home, the hundred islands.

And if you want to experience the extraordinary beauty of it, you can try visiting around November to May for calmer seas and better weather. Tips for you is to avoid holidays if you want to savor the moment being alone with your family. Also, there are lots of cottages there available to rent so don't worry about where you will stay.
