THE BEST SMG IN THE GAME? | Ashika Island | Call of Duty Warzone 3
FELLOW HIVERS, HOW'S IT GOING? 🤠
AND, WE ARE BACK! With another banger.
After getting back home, I've gotten a decent bit of time to play the game with the boys. We had to really, since our favorite map and mode is back again. This map and mode are like an unicorn; it's barely available to play. The last time we got to play this mode and map together was probably 4 months ago.
Yet, here we are, but, it won't last long. Season 2 is dropping soon, and Fortune's Keep is making a comeback, and soon after Rebirth Island will follow. When these classic maps drop, most people won't even look at these newer maps.
So, the COD sweats are all hyped, and so am I!
But for now, let's get into today's gameplay...
The Reloaded Season update was so and so. Nothing too special. Because it's the shotguns that are dominating. AGAIN! Even though we have so many good options of SMGs and ARs to choose from, people are abusing the same old shotgun and LMG meta. Sheep mentality!
The boys and I get bored too quickly, and the shotguns are without a doubt the most boring weapons at the moment. It takes 0 skill to run these shotguns. There's like one shotgun that takes a bit of skill to utilize.
So, we decided to change it up. I upgraded the new HRM SMG that was added recently, and then the SVA Assault Rifle. Both complement each other, but at longer ranges the LMGs are still king. However, this SMG is definitely a top contender in the close-range category. It's currently my favorite, and I've already dropped countless 20 bombs with it. This weapon just molds into my hand and goes well with my range and playstyle. Sadly, face to face it's no match for those fire-breathing shotguns. So, sometimes I do have to switch it up, just to survive.
All in all, Season 1 was a "waste of time", somewhat. A lot of untapped potential, but the devs ruined it with all the shotgun buffs; lowering the skill ceiling, and rewarding the untrained rookies.
Hopefully, Season 2 will offer us a chance to utilize the vast arsenal that the game has to offer. So that we don't have to rely on a certain set of guns just to survive, and instead rock something that goes with our taste and playstyle.
It isn't too much to ask for, it's just a matter of a few tweaks and tricks.
It's not all doom and gloom though, some lobbies and players don't rely on shotguns to play and win. Such people restore faith in humanity haha.
And that's where we come in, to dominate; just like this match.
If our teamwork is on point, then 4 out 5 times, we will take home the victory. The only issue most of the time, is low ping players who are rocking controllers. Up close there's no way you're going to win with high ping, while playing on a mouse and keyboard, against someone who has 5 times less ping, and a controller.
Yet, it is what it is. COD is now a controller and console-friendly game. So, you just have to deal with it. The only thing that I really want is lower ping, anywhere around the 20 to 30 range. Because that's currently the optimal ping that is required to truly dominate in a competitive FPS game.
For now, all of that is just a dream. But hopefully, one day we'll have access to a better server and lower ping.
Well, that's about it for today's upload. Which is probably the last upload of Season 1. Because the Season 2 update should be available within the next 24 hours. I'm expecting a decent revamp, a good one, but who knows? If there's one thing the COD devs know how to do consistently, then that is to disappoint us lol.
Alright, folks, I'll be seeing you all on the next one.
I hope you enjoy the Season2 and I hope it comes with a lot of goodies and also fun too
Enjoy!
Well, I've tried Season 2, and it's good. But the optimization is TRASH. And that's a huge problem. 😂
