WISATA GUA SARANG // A tourist destination on a hilltop that offers stunning natural views.

Wisata Gua Sarang is one of the quite popular tourist destinations on Sabang Island and this tourist spot is located in Iboih village. This is my first experience visiting this place, so I have to digest and really observe everything that this place has to offer, and now I will discuss why this tourist spot is so popular and admired by many tourists.First we will discuss its location, this tourist spot is right on the hills so that from this place we can see the natural scenery that is so vast and beautiful such as the expanse of the blue sea and the high mountains behind it, in this place there are also facilities in the form of chairs and tables that lead to the ocean so that while resting and relaxing we can enjoy the view with satisfaction.

This tourist destination is also located right on the roadside, so tourists don't have to worry about finding it. I don't know how far it is from downtown Sabang,but to get to this place it took me about 25 minutes from the city center.

Look at the natural atmosphere on both sides of the road, and this is the atmosphere of the road in the forest area, it looks very calm and refreshing because it is still filled with lush trees and lush wild plants. Right on this downhill road we decided to take a break, not without reason, one of my friend's legs had thigh cramps and it was a very dangerous thing if we didn't rest.

While we were resting, I could clearly hear the sounds of animals coming from the forest, but what made me even more amazed was when I heard the sound of a very beautiful bird chirping, I don't know what bird it was, but what is certain is that I have never heard it before and it was the most beautiful bird chirping sound I have ever heard.

Pensive can be categorized as a bad thing or a good thing, but it depends on the situation and circumstances. It is not strange to see someone pensive while looking at the natural scenery in Sabang because it is truly beautiful and amazing.

Luckily, after resting for about 10 minutes, my friend's leg finally got better so we could continue our journey. After traveling for about 5 minutes, we finally found a very extreme route, namely a downhill road + bends.

Being careful is very important, when passing through an extreme route like this, the slightest mistake will have fatal consequences, we have to focus on the road even though the natural scenery on the side of the road is very interesting to see.

After passing through the extreme route, we immediately arrived at the tourist destination which had been our previous goal, namely Wisata Gua Sarang, as I said before, this tourist destination is right on the side of the road and is very easy to find. Upon arrival, we immediately parked our motorbikes in the parking lot provided there, coincidentally the parking lot is also right on the side of the road.

Before entering this tourist spot, we have to buy an entrance ticket first,on weekdays, the ticket price is only IDR 5,000 in Indonesian currency or equivalent to 3.9 current Hive prices, of course this is a very cheap ticket price for such an extraordinary tourist destination, but this is the ticket price on weekdays and I don't know how much the ticket price is on big holidays.

From the main road, this tourist spot looks ordinary because it is covered by dense plants growing in the fence area, but as soon as I entered this place, I was immediately amazed by the amazing natural scenery. To get to the main area, we have to go through a slightly downhill path, but the condition of the path is also good and easy to pass.

From this path I can already see the natural scenery that is still covered by trees and plants, but the charm of the blue ocean is already displayed before my eyes as if it has welcomed my arrival. In this tourist spot there is also a mango tree with a very large size, and on the trunks of the mango tree several swings have been tied, this is very interesting to try.

I can't wait to get there, it turns out that at this tourist spot there is also a fairly large food stall, so visitors don't need to worry if they don't bring equipment and supplies here, because in this place there are stalls and food stalls that might sell what you need.

The swing on the mango tree was also empty so I immediately decided to try it, because the rope of this swing is quite high so the range of the track is also further, so the challenging sensation is really felt, every swing feels like it takes me flying to a very beautiful nature.

What's the most amazing facility this place offers.?
If you ask me, my answer would be the seating, not the shape, size, or architecture, but the strategic location.

From these chairs, we can see a very beautiful natural view, namely the expanse of the blue ocean and the mountains behind it. If we visit this place in the afternoon, then our opportunity to see a much more amazing natural view is even greater, namely the charm of the sunset. A natural view as beautiful as this + combined with the charm of the sunset is something that cannot be expressed in words.

At first I thought this tourist spot was just on the side of the road and that this was all it had to offer, but I was so surprised when I heard the statement given by the officers here.They said, if I want to see a much more beautiful natural view then I have to go down to the second tourist spot which is at the foot of this hill, and it is true that not far from this area there are very steep stairs that lead down. Getting there is an extraordinary experience and I will share it in my next post.
