WELCOME TO ACEH TIMUR // The calm atmosphere at Merdeka Square and the stunning views in the Regent's office area
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
The journey to Aceh Tamiang was very long, I didn't push myself too hard, when I felt tired I immediately decided to rest, after a journey of about 3 hours I finally arrived at Aceh Timur or more often called Idi Rayeok Regency, when I arrived in this area I saw a building that stood quite majestically on the hills, after I found out it turned out to be the Idi Rayeok regent's office building, but the reason I chose to rest around this area was because around the Regent's office there are lots of tourist attractions and also Merdeka Square which is often used as a venue for sports events and many other activities.
This building is very large and very spacious so that its existence can be seen from the highway, seeing the uniqueness of the building made me very curious to explore it but at that time I was very tired so I decided to look for a suitable place to rest first, coincidentally on the side of the road there are also lots of parks or green open spaces which are very suitable for resting places.
The problem at that time was that I parked my motorbike right on the side of the road, and that was very risky, but fortunately I managed to find some chairs in the park which were not far from where I parked my motorbike. The weather at that time was very hot but fortunately in this park there were many shady trees so that it could provide a cooler and calmer atmosphere.
This park is right on the edge of the highway and also next to Merdeka Square, I immediately approached the chair to rest, but luckily I always prepare supplies before traveling, and this also has a positive impact on me because I don't have to bother buying food again before resting. My back muscles felt very sore, so I spent quite a long time resting, under the shade of the trees I could feel the cool and very refreshing air.
Even though this area is already in an urban area, the natural atmosphere is very noticeable, but my curiosity about the Idi Rayeok Regent's office is getting bigger, but of course I have to wait until my back is fresh again, more or less I spent about 20 minutes resting in this park, and after everything felt ready I immediately continued my journey to start exploring the Idi Rayeok Regent's office.
This building was already in front of my eyes, but the problem was that I was still confused about choosing the right way to get there, luckily there was an old man who was walking around that place, so I immediately approached the old man to ask for the right way to get to the regent's office, after getting the right directions I immediately said goodbye to the old man and started heading there
This road is quite uphill but the atmosphere around this road is very calm, but there is one thing that makes me even more amazed is, on this road I can see a lot of housing that is right on the side of the road, at that time I immediately realized that the road I was passing was a road in a housing complex area, but what made me feel a little confused was that many of the housing here were empty and abandoned. about 5 minutes of travel finally I arrived right in front of the Idi Rayeok Regent's office building
This building looks very magnificent with a very elegant paint color, initially I wanted to explore the area of this building further but I had to cancel my intention because access to enter this building was closed and fenced with zinc, this made me very confused at that time, I had thought whether the Regent's office was not fully ready or was no longer functioning, and this was a big question mark for me at that time.
And I also didn't find a single person around this place, and I also saw a lot of abandoned houses facing me on the side of the road, this made me a little panicked at that time because I was afraid that unwanted things would happen, so after I took a few pictures showing the grandeur of this regent's office, I immediately turned around and returned to the starting point, namely to the park area next to Merdeka Square.
But at that time I tried to go through another route, everything in this place was still very new and foreign to me, so this will also be a valuable experience for me in the future. After passing through that road I finally managed to find the main road again, and from that area I could see the regent's office from the front.

You are absolutely right, a journey taken together feels much more special, however, I deliberately did this trip alone because I would be staying for a few days at my uncle's house, so some of my friends couldn't come along.
Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend 🙏♥️
Seeing abandoned houses is a bit eerie though. I wonder what the story is behind that? Anyway, you still handled everything with calm and presence of mind, taking breaks when needed and staying observant.
I haven't received any information about the housing, but you are absolutely right, stay alert and careful, thank you for reminding me.
