UJUNG LEKAS GEOSITE // The charm of the small savanna under the Takengon mountains
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

In this post, I will share my experience visiting and exploring a small savanna in a tourist attraction called Ujung Lekas Geosite. This is a fairly large tourist destination where we can not only enjoy the natural scenery, but also various interesting facilities that will make us feel comfortable staying here for a long time. However, in this post, I will focus more on sharing my experience exploring a small savanna and a relaxing area by the tawar sea, this was a deliberate experience and one that I find quite interesting to share here.
This tourist attraction is located right on the main road and is very easy to find. However, it was once closed and visitors were not allowed to enter, fortunately it has now reopened to the public, allowing us to visit and explore to our heart's content. From the main road, we can already see the uniqueness of this place, from small savannas to rocky hills. It would be a shame to miss this attraction when visiting Takengon.

This is the savanna area I was referring to. It is not very large, but we can do many exciting and fun things here. In my opinion, this area is perfect for sitting with family, here we also can choose to sit directly on the grass or use a carpet. The grass here is also very well maintained and grows very lushly.
It's not just about comfort but also about satisfaction. In this area, we can sit and relax comfortably and peacefully, and we can also see the amazing natural scenery, namely the expanse of tawar sea and the towering mountains behind them. Just imagining it, we can already feel how wonderful it would be to spend time and moments with our loved ones here.

In my opinion, this is one of the most comfortable tourist destinations in Takengon. Based on my experience at that time, my partner and I chose to sit and even lie down in this savanna area, enjoying the refreshing natural atmosphere while taking in the stunning natural scenery.
Not far from this savanna area, we will also be able to find a different area, a different area but still has a calm and comfortable atmosphere, namely a sitting area that is right on the edge of the tawar sea, to get there we only need to pass through the path on the left side of this savanna.

To get there, we also have to go down some stairs that look a little steep, and this must be done very carefully because these stairs do not have railings on either side. From the top of these stairs, we can already see the lounge chairs located right on the edge of the tawar sea along with the natural surroundings.

This area is not too wide but quite long, there are lots of chairs that have been provided so that visitors can choose as they wish, and the chairs are also made directly using wood so that the natural feel will be more pronounced. Arriving at the chair area, I was immediately amazed because from this area I could also see the rock hill area that is currently popular on social media.

A little information about this rock hill (in my opinion) if we look at it visually, then we can see a fairly large hill, and the hill is also filled with large rocks, so we will feel like we are in a different world when exploring it. Visitors can also explore and surround the area of this rock hill because there is a footpath there. However, every visitor is still advised to be careful because there are still many areas of grass and dense bushes that are habitat for wildlife.

As we can see, this place is located right on the edge of the tawar sea, so here we can not only see the natural scenery, but we can also enjoy it, for example here we can play in the water or swim on the edge of the tawar sea.Imagine if we visit this place with our beloved family, here we can do many things such as grilling chicken or fish, watching our children or younger siblings play happily, playing in the water, fishing, and various other exciting activities.
