REMOTE VILLAGE // A natural symphony in a remote village that soothes the soul

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

In this post I will share my experience when visiting a remote village in Seruway sub-district, I had visited this village with my uncle a month ago and that's when I knew about the existence of this village, on this occasion I returned to visit the village but this trip I did alone, only with my curiosity I felt confident enough to go there, from my uncle's house, I only needed about 10 minutes to arrive at the Opak intersection, from the Opak intersection I continued my journey by passing several other villages, approximately 1 hour of travel finally I arrived at the remote village called Lubuk Damar.

Upon arrival in Lubuk Damar village, I was immediately greeted by the stunning scenery and natural surroundings. Its remote location from the city makes the village feel so natural and peaceful, I felt like I'd traveled back 10 years.

In this village we will find a river that has a fairly large size, and this is a river that leads directly to the sea so in this river we can see the phenomenon of high and low tide. In addition to offering beauty, this river is also a source of daily livelihood for residents in this village, on the banks of the river we can also see that there are lots of boats that are neatly parked.

According to the information I got from one of the residents of Lubuk Damar, almost 80% of the residents in this village work as farmers and fishermen, they live dependent on nature, and this is one of the reasons why the natural atmosphere in this village is so well preserved.

For fishermen, they go out to sea in the morning and return home in the afternoon, and this has become their daily routine. Going out to sea, catching fish, returning home, selling the catch, and earning money, that's the brief concept, but there are also fishermen who return home without bringing anything, for fishermen, this job is not only about skill, but also about luck.

In this village I also managed to find several brick-making factories, all of which look traditional and are done manually. The question is where do they get the wood to burn the bricks? In my opinion, almost all of the people in this village have boats, because besides vehicles, boats are also a very important means of transportation in this village, usually the people in this village will go across the river and look for wood carried by the sea waves, they collect it and bring the wood home using a boat, and that is what becomes the fuel for burning bricks.

Everything complements each other, and that's what makes me feel quite enthusiastic to learn everything in this village, I am proud of every trip I make, the trip will take me to places I have never been to, and the trip also takes me to different life environments, differences to complement each other

There are lots of boats parked on the riverbank, from small to large, I am very curious to try it, going along this river to its estuary, I want to enjoy this moment even further, but I am alone and I don't dare to try it.

There is a difference in function between small boats and large boats which might be quite interesting to learn, small boats are often used to go to sea and look for fish in just one day, but it is different with large boats, large boats will go to sea for several days or even more than a week, and that will require a lot of money and time, this is the information I got from one of the residents of Lubuk Damar.
