Recap of the journey home from Takengon city to Bireuen city // Last moments not to be missed
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️
In this post, I will share some photos and stories of my trip back from Takengon city to Bireuen city. We happened to be traveling back at half past 5 in the afternoon so we still had the chance to arrive in Bireuen before midnight. On the way back, I managed to capture some of the last moments that I think are interesting enough for us to discuss.
Let's start
On the way home I also stopped at several places, the main goal of course to rest and capture every moment that happened, sometimes there were also my friends who stopped and some who immediately continued the journey. The long journey was certainly very tiring, but I didn't care about feeling tired on the journey, because it had become an important part of my life, but the obstacle that I was really worried about was muscle cramps because it would really interfere with my journey.
After traveling for about 10 minutes from the city center of Takengon, I finally arrived at the coffee monument. This coffee monument is a monument that we will find when we start entering the Takengon city area, so it is not surprising that many visitors choose to rest at this monument, especially since it is located on the side of the highway.
Pay attention to every detail of this monument, there are many areas that symbolize coffee, from the concrete to the roof, but if we don't pay attention, we might not realize it. This monument is not too big, but when it rains, this monument can fit up to 15 people. I stopped at this monument with the main goal of buying snacks on the edge of this monument, I happened to park my motorbike right in front of this monument.
Pay attention to the roof which is intentionally designed to look very similar to coffee leaves, and the back wall is also designed to resemble coffee beans, and in this area many visitors take photos to capture their moments, even at that time my partner and I did it too.
After capturing the beauty of this monument, we immediately continued our journey. It so happened that in front of me there was an intersection and to get to Bireuen city we had to take the intersection on the left.
After continuing the journey for about 5 minutes, finally my partner told me to stop again at the side of the road, it turned out that my partner wanted to take some pictures showing a village that looked quite peaceful and very beautiful.
This village is located in a very cool environment, and if you pay attention, this village is also very close to the tawar sea, it does look quite close but we will need about 15 minutes to get to the tawar sea area. Pay attention to a grandfather who is seen in the first picture, believe me the grandfather is expressing his emotions, he looks like he is talking to himself and occasionally banging his head, I am sure the grandfather is expressing his emotions by talking to himself, hopefully the beautiful scenery in front of his eyes can make him calmer.
My partner, who initially wanted to take pictures at that location, immediately changed his mind because the grandfather spoke in a loud enough tone that it scared my partner, so after I took a few pictures of the view, I immediately continued my journey. I also increased the speed of my motorbike a little because I knew my friends were already far ahead.
After continuing the journey for about 20 minutes, I finally stopped again because I managed to see the view of the tawar sea that could be seen from the gap in the mountain valley, but when I wanted to take a picture of the view, I just realized that beside me there was a very steep ravine, so I didn't want to take any risks and just took some photos from the safe side.
But I didn't linger in the area, and after taking some pictures I immediately continued my journey, I immediately continued my journey without stopping again and finally I managed to catch up with my friends. The journey home went very normally, the weather at that time was very suitable, and there were no signs of rain.
After about 1 hour of traveling, we finally stopped again in front of the old building that was still a mystery to me, and this time all my friends also stopped to rest.
While my friends were resting, I took the time to walk to the area of the old building, but as soon as I reached the front of the bridge, I was immediately stopped by several people there and forbade me from going inside. I don't know the reason, but I just agreed to the prohibition from these people, so I could only capture this building from the front.
After resting, we immediately continued our journey, but not far from that place we managed to find a gas station and we all decided to stop there to refuel our motorbikes.
The orange rays of the sun began to appear, the atmosphere also felt increasingly dark, but this journey had been very far and most likely we only needed about one and a half hours more to reach the city of Bireuen, so after refueling the motorbike, we immediately continued our journey home, to save time we decided not to stop again and just focus on the journey.
