ONE-ONE VILLAGE // A unique village that offers stunning natural panoramas

In this post, I will share my experience while visiting and exploring one of the villages in the city of Takengon. This village is called One-one, it sounds a little unique, but I am sure the name must have a meaning, this village is right on the edge of the tawar sea and is only about 4-5 km from the center of Takengon city.According to the information I got from local residents, this village is a culinary tourism area that sells various typical Gayo culinary foods, so it is not surprising that many tourists visit this village. If we travel around the tawar sea, we will pass through this village, but it feels incomplete if we don't try the culinary or enjoy everything that this village has to offer.

One of the reasons I like this village is because of its calm and peaceful atmosphere. Many houses in this village are built using wood, visitors who come to this village will definitely be able to see and feel the simple life and culture that is still strong amidst the amazing natural scenery so that it will make us go back to the past.

According to the information I got from local residents, this is a village that is still relatively new and previously it was a large area of ​​rice fields and plantations, but now we can see that there are many housing complexes that will continue to grow over time in this village.

On the side of the road we can also find many kiosks, food stalls and coffee shops, the residents in this village are also very friendly so we don't need to worry if we want to stop by there.

This village also offers very beautiful natural views and we can enjoy them in almost every corner of the village. The view of the towering mountains is one of the views that should not be missed, the fertile soil makes many types of trees and plants grow easily here.

While in this village, I also managed to find an abandoned tourist area, I don't know what this tourist spot is, but what is certain is that this is an open nature tourist destination.

We can see together, inside the tourist spot there is a stall with a fairly large size with several interesting facilities. Because I was curious, I decided to stop for a moment on the side of the road to make sure what this tourist spot was, after I noticed it turned out that inside this tourist spot there was a pool and water slide facilities, but the pool was no longer visible because it was covered by plants and wild grass, if you want to see it too you can zoom in on the photo below.

I don't know why this tourist spot is abandoned, even though this place is in a very strategic location, besides being able to play in this tourist spot,we can also see beautiful views of the tawar sea and mountains.

Viewing from a different vantage point, we can see that the roof of this tourist attraction is severely damaged, which is truly a shame.In my opinion, the view from the rice field area also looks very beautiful, especially when the rice planting season arrives,the green leaves make the naturalness of this place even more visible and felt

This view will be much more beautiful when the rice plants start to turn yellow, and it still takes about another month. After the harvest, this view may look ordinary because the rice fields will be filled with wild plants that grow irregularly, so if we want to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the rice fields in this village, it is highly recommended to visit when the rice planting season arrives.
