NGIENG JIOH PARK // Natural panorama from the top of the Japanese cave hill

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

This was a trip I took a few days ago, a trip to the city of Lhokseumawe, and our goal at that time was to visit one of the old tourist destinations that was once popular in its time, namely the Japanese Cave hill tour. However, on this trip I managed to experience many exciting and funny events and moments, especially how we took the time to pick Jamblang fruit on the roadside and enjoy the natural panorama at the top of the Japanese Cave hill.

To get to this tourist spot we have to go through a rural road first, but fortunately access to get there is easy because the road is paved, and this is also my 4th visit to this place, every change is clearly visible, but unfortunately this place is now abandoned, but even so there are still people who visit this place, especially for people who want to enjoy the beauty of the natural panorama.

On the way to the top of the hill I saw a lot of people stopped on the side of the road, at first I felt a little panicked considering the road I was passing was very quiet, I stopped from a distance and paid attention to everyone who stopped on the side of the road, but strangely there were several people who were climbing trees, yes climbing trees, seeing this incident made me who was initially afraid become curious, so I decided to approach these people

It turned out that the people who stopped on the side of the road were picking Jamblang fruit which grows in abundance around this place, I also asked about the ownership of the Jamblang tree and the people said that this was state-owned land and anyone could harvest Jamblang fruit here, hearing this statement I immediately parked my motorbike and started to join in picking the Jamblang fruit Lol.

Coincidentally, my partner and I also really like this fruit, but the problem is that the tree is so big that it is very difficult to reach the branches, without the slightest hesitation I decided to climb the tree so I could pick the fruit that was really ripe, while my partner stayed below and collected the fallen fruit.

Wow, this is a very exciting trip, this trip took us to a place filled with fresh fruits. If I'm not mistaken, Jamblang fruit is still in the same family as water guava and guava, but the shape and color are clearly different, the young fruit is green and when it is ripe it will be jet black, and the taste itself is quite fresh, sweet, sour, a little astringent, the point is this fruit is very delicious, especially if it is made into fruit salad

After feeling satisfied, I immediately went down and ate this fruit with my partner. Without realizing it at first, it turned out that the natural scenery around the Jamblang tree was quite beautiful.

At that time we decided to spend some of our time in this place, eating fresh Jamblang fruit and accompanied by beautiful natural views is an extraordinary pleasure given directly by nature. However, the problem at that time was that the weather, which was initially bright, suddenly turned cloudy and to reach the peak it still took about 10 minutes more, finally we decided to immediately go to the peak, rain was a big worry for us at that time.

I'm not lying, along this road we will find lots of Jamblang trees, the ripe fruit managed to tempt us to pick them, especially my partner who asked me to stop often to pick the Jamblang fruit, he was very enthusiastic and in the end we managed to collect a full bag and that was a satisfaction. The reason why this fruit is very popular in my area is because it is a seasonal fruit and this tree is not found in every area and only grows in certain areas, but there are lots of people who sell this fruit especially on the side of the highway, and the price is also quite expensive, but in this place we can pick and eat it as much as we want.

After we were satisfied with harvesting Jamblang fruit, we immediately decided to head to the top of the hill, and the distance was not far anymore.

Arriving at the top of the hill, we immediately parked our motorbikes in the parking lot provided there. About 7 years ago this place was a very popular tourist destination, there were many paths that could be traversed, natural decorations and even the natural panorama were inseparable from this place, but now everything has been lost to time and only the top of the hill is still preserved.

There are several areas specifically for taking photos here, especially an area that is right on the edge of the cliff, but for those who are afraid of heights, this is probably not recommended. From this peak, we can also see lots of views, starting from natural views, PT Aron, housing, to coastal areas and the ocean.

Seven years ago, we had to queue just to take a photo here, but now it's deserted, leaving only its stories and fond memories. I spent quite a while here, and the natural beauty it offers makes for a truly romantic atmosphere.

In my village, in Venezuela, there is this fruit, and I like its flavor, which is somewhat strange; it also stains a lot, but it is a strong tree and a beautiful fruit of intense color.
I had not seen it published here, thank you very much for sharing it, @riyat

Hehe, you are absolutely right, this fruit has stains that will be very difficult to clean if they get on our clothes.
But the strange taste of this fruit is quite delicious.
