LUBUK DAMAR // Discovery of a peaceful place in the remote village of Aceh Tamiang

In this post I will share my experience when visiting a place with a very enchanting natural panorama in a remote village in Aceh Tamiang, this trip I did with my uncle and this is a fun and also happy. During my stay in Aceh Tamiang I also increasingly understand about the differences to complement each other, each place has different customs and this is one of the reasons why I really like traveling. Today at exactly one o'clock in the afternoon my uncle invited me to trip to a village that is quite far from the city center of Kuala Simpang, with a high sense of curiosity I immediately agreed to my uncle's invitation

My uncle told me that the destination was a river at the end of the village, hearing about the river I immediately thought about bringing my fishing equipment, the goal was so that I could relax while enjoying the calm natural panorama and also carry out my other hobby, namely fishing, it sounded quite enjoyable especially if accompanied by a cup of coffee

This is a building from a small town called Opak, in this place we also stopped to buy some food supplies that we would take to our destination, plus this trip was quite far according to my uncle, and what made this trip a little challenging was that we had to pass through several villages with very damaged road conditions, but I just followed my uncle's directions

This is a gate or entrance to a village, but I don't know anything about this area so I can only watch and capture these moments, under the hot sun my uncle and I continued our journey until we arrived at a bridge, this bridge is called the Jembatan Opak.

In my opinion, this is a fairly long bridge, and from the middle of this bridge we can also see a very amazing natural panorama, namely a river surrounded by grass and trees on both sides, but the condition of the water in this river looks very dirty or murky which makes this view look a little less than perfect.

To get to this bridge alone, we had to travel for about 40 minutes. Initially, I thought the distance from this bridge to our destination was not far, but it turned out that what I thought was completely wrong, because from this bridge we had to travel for about an hour more to get to our destination,we also had to pass through several more villages where of course the road conditions were not so good.

After traveling for about an hour, we finally arrived at our destination, or more precisely at the end of Lubuk Damar Village. Upon arrival, we immediately parked our motorcycles in the designated parking area, and then proceeded on foot to the area my uncle had indicated.

At first I thought this place was a tourist spot or a place that was crowded with people, but it turned out I was wrong because this place was just an ordinary fish auction place, at first this place looked ordinary and had nothing special, but once I arrived at the fish auction place, I realized what made this place my uncle's destination, look at some of the pictures below

One thing that we can immediately feel in this place is a sense of peace, there is not the slightest noise in this place except the sound of the sea breeze, this place is also a parking area for fishermen's boats, the natural atmosphere around it also looks very peaceful. Apart from that, the natural scenery offered by this place also looks very impressive.

At that time, my uncle invited me to rest on a fishing boat, there we could relax as much as we wanted, and this is where my uncle told me the reason he invited me to this place, namely to take me around the remote and hidden places in Aceh Tamiang, of course places that have a calming natural feel.

I don't really remember how long we spent in this place, time went by so fast and before I knew it, it was already 4.00 in the afternoon, at that time I immediately took out my fishing rod and decided to fish in this place as did my uncle.

Fishing is not the main purpose of this trip, but fishing is a complement to this trip, the aroma of nature can be clearly smelled in this place like the fragrance of random flowers that I myself do not know where they come from, the view of an island in front of me also looks very amazing

I don't know why when we are happy, it feels like time goes by so quickly,do you feel the same way.? At exactly 6 pm my uncle finally asked me to go home, and yes, I immediately agreed.
