IN THE CITY OF SABANG // Explore and enjoy the charm of Indonesia's westernmost city,

In this post,I will share my experience while traveling around the city of Sabang, a small city located in the westernmost part of Indonesia. When I was on Sabang Island I always remembered the words "From Sabang to Merauke", but do you know what those words mean?
From Sabang to Merauke is a symbol of the unity of the Indonesian region that stretches from the western tip Sabang-Aceh to the eastern tip Merauke-Papua, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands, tribes, and different cultures, but all are one unity of homeland, nation, and language, of course this is basic knowledge that has been taught since elementary school.

I myself have never been to Papua (the easternmost province of Indonesia) but I have thousands of curiosity about the province, and it is one of the places I want to visit soon. And now let's join me to explore Sabang Island from the city to the most remote areas of the island.

The natural atmosphere in the center of Sabang city is very different from the center of Banda Aceh city, here the natural atmosphere is still quite fresh and calming, here we can also still find many trees and plants on the side of the road so that the natural atmosphere is really felt.

On the side of the road I managed to find a very interesting park called Taman Ria, I don't really know any information about this park because this was my first visit here, but according to the information I got from the residents there, this park was built by the Dutch in 1896 and was once one of the most favorite tourist destinations in the city of Sabang, but now this park is not as busy as it used to be.This park is located in the center of Sabang city and is located right on the edge of the main road so that anyone can find this park and access to it is very easy.

At the intersection of Sabang city, we can also find a monument called the Simpang Garuda monument. I don't know whether this monument has a history or not, but what is certain is that this monument stands very majestically in the middle of the intersection,i really like the architecture and the additional paint color which looks very amazing.

As I have said in my previous posts, in some areas, especially in the hilly areas, we can see natural views in the form of a very beautiful ocean,the beauty of this ocean view can be seen directly from the highway,these are some of the views that make me excited to explore Sabang Island.

I can't remember how many mosque buildings I managed to find on the side of the road, but what is certain is that each mosque building has its own characteristics, a beautiful building with extraordinary architecture.

I don't remember the exact location of this place, but look at the natural scenery on both sides of the road, isn't it truly breathtaking.?
The fragrant aroma of nature fills my nostrils, and under the sunlight, the island looks truly breathtaking,believe me,a one-day vacation to Sabang Island won't be enough.

Gapang beach tourist destination was one of the tourist destinations that I really wanted to visit at that time, and I had known about this place long before I went on holiday here, but I didn't have time to visit it because of time constraints at that time, and some of my friends chose to visit several other tourist attractions, maybe this beach will be my main target if I go back on holiday to Sabang Island.
