Hidden beauty in the forest // My journey and adventure entered the forest to find the location of a hidden waterfall that was being widely discussed

There are many rumors circulating about a waterfall located deep in the forest, even it has become a topic of conversation among parents and young people in my area because it is said that the beauty of the waterfall is very beautiful and so natural, but the location of the waterfall is still very few people who visit it. the location of the waterfall is still in the Bireuen city area, but of course it is very far from my house because I have to pass through several sub-districts and enter the forest to get to my destination, and on this occasion I want to prove the rumors that are circulating in my area about the beauty of the waterfall. Today, February 9, 2025 at exactly 09.00 in the morning, I had the initiative to travel and adventure into the forest with the aim of finding the location of a waterfall that is currently being hotly discussed in my area, yes, I have invited several of my friends and many of my friends rejected my invitation because the location of the waterfall is very mysterious and very difficult to find because it is in the forest and of course very far from my village, but luckily there is a friend who wants to accept my invitation and that makes me feel very happy because there is one friend who is going on an adventure with me this time.

And because this trip was very far so we had to leave our village and pass through several sub-districts and pass through many surrounding villages, because to get to the waterfall we had to pass through a far village road and it was very tiring, a very hot day made this trip feel very heavy, and it was also a challenge for me on this trip. And right when I passed the village road I was blocked by a herd of cows that were crossing the road

To pass through the village road is very difficult because there are so many alleys that make us very confused to choose the right path plus my friend and I have never traveled to the area even the location of the waterfall we do not know and we only rely on help from google maps. Until finally we arrived at a crossroads and we did not know which path to choose so we were forced to wait for some people who passed by and asked for the right way.

Luckily there was an old man who passed the road and we immediately asked the old man about the right way to get to the waterfall, and after getting the right way we immediately thanked the old man and we immediately continued this journey.

And we passed the uphill road and I immediately stopped on the side of the road because I saw a view that I had never seen before, the beauty of the expanse of rice fields below looked very tempting.

It turned out that the path that the grandfather had given us was the path that took us past a dam that I had visited a few months ago, and I was surprised because the path to the waterfall was the path that passed through the beautiful dam, so I took the time to capture some of the beauty of the dam first.

After capturing some of the beauty of the dam, I immediately continued my journey back to the waterfall location, considering that I had to save and make the most of my time because we didn't know how far our journey was. So far, the road we had traveled was still normal and not too damaged, but that didn't last long because after we passed the dam, we immediately entered a road where we could no longer see residential areas or residents' activities around the road, which meant that the road we were traveling on was a road that would take us into the forest.

And unfortunately on this trip I brought an automatic motorbike and it was very difficult because the road was very damaged plus the uphill road made my motorbike feel very tortured, and I didn't expect this trip to be so far and very tiring.

If I look at Google Maps, the waterfall is still far ahead and that makes me hesitate to continue this journey, and the main problem that makes me hesitate is that the road we are on is very damaged and muddy.

However, if I don't continue this journey, then the journey I have taken so far will be in vain, so rather than thinking any longer, I immediately continued this journey, as did my friend who said that we should continue this journey.

After passing through many obstacles on this damaged road, I felt very tired and felt sorry for my motorbike which looked very tired, finally I decided to park my motorbike in the forest and continue the journey on foot and I just call it an adventure.

I kept looking at my cellphone screen and kept looking at the location and distance to the waterfall, but if I looked at Google Maps then we only needed to walk straight for 3 km and we would arrive at the waterfall, but it sounded very easy but the opposite was immediately felt when I was really in the forest, the path I was taking really looked very extreme even the path we had taken before had disappeared so we had to make our own way.

And honestly this was a very serious and very extreme adventure for me because neither I nor my friend knew the right way to get to the waterfall, we only relied on the path provided by Google Maps, so we kept cutting down small trees to make a new path so we could pass through. The forest which was still very dense made me a little nervous at that time even the sound of animals that I had never heard before I had heard in this adventure, it was really extreme.

even on the way through the dense forest we already felt very tired even the signs of the waterfall that had not been seen at all, one thing we were very afraid of at that time was that we would get lost in this forest but I kept monitoring my cellphone screen and continued to follow the path given by google maps. Until after passing through this dense forest for kilometers finally I heard the roar of water in the river which made me immediately take the initiative that it was the sound coming from the waterfall that was our destination.

After passing through the dense forest, we arrived at a river but I did not see the existence of a waterfall which made me feel very desperate at that time, but my friend continued to encourage me to immediately get up and continue walking downstream, because according to my friend the source of the loud sound was above or downstream of the river, hearing the statement and encouragement given by my friend I got up again and continued walking along the river.

I continued to walk in that despair and continued to walk downstream, but the further I walked from the river, the louder the roar of the water became and made me feel that there was new hope again, I continued to speed up my steps and wanted to immediately reach the center of the roar, and after passing several obstacles I immediately felt very happy because I had succeeded in finding the location of the waterfall that was being hotly discussed in my area.

This is a very large and very high waterfall, even from a very far distance this waterfall is clearly visible, but the distance is so far that it is very difficult for me to capture its beauty so I immediately ran to get closer to the waterfall.

I immediately felt a very happy feeling when I was right under this waterfall. I am the type of person who really likes to accept challenges and every time I hear news about a new place, I definitely want to go there in person rather than just babbling, even though the news about this water has only been circulating in my area for a few days and now I have succeeded in visiting the location of this mysterious waterfall in person

I ran towards this waterfall, leaving my friend behind, and the atmosphere around this waterfall was so cool and very fresh.

However, after passing through this dense forest, the tiredness I felt was so strong that I decided to immediately rest right under the waterfall, even the drizzle of water hitting my body made me feel very calm, my tiredness quickly disappeared and was immediately replaced with a feeling of joy and happiness.

However, before continuing the next activity, I first ate some provisions to fill my very hungry stomach. After everything was done, I immediately got up from my seat and started walking to capture the beauty of this waterfall first.

And it turned out to be true according to the rumors circulating about this waterfall. This waterfall is located in a place that is very far from residential areas or precisely in the forest, and the road to this waterfall is also very difficult because there is no public access and we have to go through and take our own path, but the tiredness and difficulty will definitely be replaced when we have really arrived at this very beautiful waterfall.

The sound of the waterfall is very loud and clear in my ears, even the sound of nature in the forest is replaced by the beautiful sound of this waterfall, the atmosphere is bright but feels very cool when around this waterfall because the dense trees cover the access to direct sunlight which makes the atmosphere a little dark and very calm.

But that's enough of my adventure story for now, and I will share my adventure again in the next post, there is still a lot of excitement from me in exploring this waterfall because I also had the chance to swim and explore the beauty of this waterfall completely and I will share that in my next post.
