In this post I will share my experience while visiting a popular tourist destination in the city of Takengon. According to information from one of the officers at this tourist spot, this place is one of the best places or spots to enjoy the beautiful charm of the sunset in this Gayo land (the native tribe that inhabits the Gayo highlands, Takengon), the sun will set behind the mountains and leave a very beautiful orange light, but it is not easy to get that moment because in the city of Takengon it rains very often. In addition, this tourist spot is also very popular with visitors who want to take pictures, because it has a very beautiful view, namely the view of the tawar sea and the mountains behind it.

This tourist spot is called Dermaga Dedalu and has been one of the tourist spots that has been around for a long time, in this tourist spot we can not only enjoy the beautiful natural scenery because here we will also be amazed by the many unique facilities and there are also play facilities for children, which makes it a friendly tourist destination for all visitors. However, in this post I will focus more on telling the moment when I explored the pier section only, a floating road that will take us to the tawar sea.

Many people call this area the pier, and this is the area or spot that is highly sought after by visitors who want to take photos,in this pier area, we can see a wider natural view and enjoy the refreshing cool weather of Takengon,taking photos in this place is a satisfaction in itself because it has a very beautiful natural view as a background.

Oh yes, this tourist spot is also currently undergoing repairs and the addition of other interesting facilities. There are several villas being built in this place so that they can become accommodation for visitors who come from far away,this construction can also be witnessed directly.

In my opinion, this villa was built in a very strategic location, allowing visitors who stay at this villa to definitely enjoy beautiful natural views at any time, more or less this is the natural view that can be enjoyed from this villa.

I think so, especially when we wake up and open our eyes and are immediately greeted by such beautiful natural scenery,i think this is something very interesting to try, but this villa is not finished yet, maybe it will be finished in a few weeks.

This pier was built using almost 80% wood, starting from the floor to some additional decorations, there is one unique facility here, namely a replica of a sunflower at the very end of the pier, this sunflower replica can also be climbed so that visitors can take photos on it.

However, the size is not too big and maybe can only accommodate two people, if we visit this place on a big day then we have to queue to get a photo quota on this sunflower replica, luckily at the time of my visit at that time this place looked so quiet (because it was still early) so we could explore and take photos as much as we wanted here.

The view of the tawar sea and towering mountains makes for a beautiful backdrop for photos, as you can see in the two photos above. I also have another thought about this spot,the end of the pier faces the tawar sea, making it a great spot for fishing (in my opinion).
