BAKAU ISLAND // Natural tourist destination on the banks of the Langsa River

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

In this post I will share my experience when visiting one of the natural tourist destinations in Langsa city, precisely around Kuala Langsa Street, this is an open natural tourist destination where in this place we can enjoy the view of the lush mangrove forest and also the view of the big Langsa river, this is my first visit to this place so everything offered by this place still feels new and amazing to me.

When we want to enter this place, we will be greeted by an entrance gate that looks very traditional and says Bakau Island or more precisely mangrove island. From this main area, I can already feel the natural atmosphere that is so calm, and after we walk a few steps, we will be able to see the view of many mangrove trees, there are types of mangroves that are mini in size and there are types of mangroves that are large and tall.

According to the information I got from the parking attendant at this place, this tourist destination will be very crowded with visitors on big days, there are lots of activities and activities that we can do in this place, such as relaxing, swimming, grilling chicken or fish, and the most interesting thing is that we can also fish here, each visitor has their own goals and this tourist destination is one of the right choices to visit.

There is no need to worry because in this place there are also chairs and huts provided for resting, but the drawback is that there are not too many huts in this place, so during big holidays there will definitely be many visitors who do not get a hut to rest.

I think this is quite important to note, as it's crucial to the satisfaction of every visitor. One thing that really intrigued me about this place is the location of the huts which are built right on the riverbank,so any visitor resting in the huts can enjoy the river view and the boats passing by.

At this tourist spot there is also a food stall, so visitors don't need to worry if they forget to bring supplies, the prices of food and drinks at this place are also very cheap (according to my experience) and this is also one of the things that is quite important.

When the sea water is high tide, the distance between the river water and the hut is only about 3 meters, and this is the right time if we want to swim, but when the sea water has receded, the distance will be further and at that time the opportunity for visitors to look for crabs in between the mangrove trees, this is not surprising at all because during my visit I also managed to meet several visitors who were looking for mangrove crabs there.

In my opinion, this tourist spot is very suitable to visit with family and friends, because there are lots of very exciting things to do with friends here, such as swimming and looking for crabs, but there is also nothing wrong if we visit this place with a partner, because each person's happiness and satisfaction are different.

I really like tourist attractions like this or more precisely open nature tourism, because in places like this we can feel the calm and fresh natural atmosphere and at the same time we can also enjoy the beautiful views offered by nature itself, just like in this place I can sit relaxed on a hut while enjoying the natural scenery in front of me in the form of mangrove trees and rivers.

In my opinion, this tourist spot is very suitable to visit in the afternoon, the reason is because the afternoon atmosphere feels calmer, and we will also have the opportunity to meet and see many visitors who come to this place, but if you don't like crowds and noise then you can visit this place earlier.

Oh yes, this tourist spot is also quite close to the TPI (fish auction place) in Langsa City, so from here we can also see views of several fishing boats parked there.
