A trip around Bireuen city and ended up visiting Cot Gapu swimming pool // This trip was lied to by my uncle, but I can't blame him,Why.?

In this post, I will share my experience when visiting a popular swimming pool in Bireuen city with my family, but before heading to the swimming pool, I also took the time to explore Bireuen city first, of course, there were many exciting things and moments that I think are interesting enough for me to discuss here.

My uncle was the one who invited me on this trip, but they chose to travel by car, while I chose to use a motorbike. At exactly 1 pm I immediately left first, coincidentally I did this trip with a friend so I had a friend to chat with this time, when I arrived in Bireuen city I immediately called my uncle and asked where they were, it turned out they had not left at all and were still tidying up their equipment at home, hearing this made us a little annoyed, but there was no other choice but to rest at the stall while waiting for my uncle's group.

I waited for my uncle's group for about 15 minutes, but they still hadn't left, in my opinion waiting for something unclear is very boring 😅. But rather than getting bored waiting, I chose to invite my friend to go around the city of Bireuen first, my friend also agreed to the invitation, finally we decided to go around the city of Bireuen.

The weather at that time was also very good, not hot and not cloudy, but when we arrived at the intersection of 4 Bireuen cities we had to stop because of the red light, from here I could see the beauty of a Bireuen monument standing firmly in the middle of the road, you need to know, this is also the Trans-Sumatra highway or the Medan-Banda Aceh highway, of course this is a very strategic road.

When the green light came on, we immediately continued our journey around the city, the city at that time also looked very quiet because it was still 2 pm, this has become a common sight in the city of Bireuen, namely the city will look more crowded in the afternoon.

Every corner of the city that I see certainly has its own unforgettable story, even though now I rarely visit the city of Bireuen, but when I was a teenager I always spent my nights here, the Bireuen monument is also a witness to how naughty I was at that time😅.Everyone has their own story and experience, all of which will be valuable lessons for the future.

When I wanted to go around the Kota Juang monument, I had to stop again because of the red light, but from this area I could see the beauty of the Kota Juang monument and it was also very interesting to capture. After the green light came on, we immediately continued our journey around this monument, but my friend suggested stopping for a moment in the monument area, the reason was that he wanted to buy boiled peanuts which are always sold there.

I have seen this view so many times, but I never get bored at all, every visit feels different so I will always be interested in visiting this city. After my friend bought boiled peanuts, we immediately looked for a suitable area to rest while snacking on the boiled peanuts, fortunately in the area in front of the monument there is a motorbike parking area, and we immediately approached the area.

After the boiled peanuts were finished, we planned to take a longer rest in the area while watching the city view and the activities of the residents passing by on the street, although it sounded quite noisy, but the atmosphere still felt quite pleasant.About 10 minutes later, my uncle finally called me and said that they had arrived in Bireuen city and suggested that we continue our journey straight to our destination, the Cot Gapu swimming pool.

The main obstacle was that I didn't know where the swimming pool was, I had never been there before, I didn't even know it was there lol, but luckily my friend had been there before, so he already knew and had memorized the way, so we immediately made our way there, and about 15 minutes drive, we finally got there.

Arriving there I was immediately amazed, because in that place there are also many chairs and huts for visitors to rest, and there are also many food stalls so it doesn't matter if you visit this place when you are hungry. So far I haven't seen the pool area but I don't think too much about it because resting while enjoying a cup of fresh drink might be much more enjoyable.

But after I looked at it in more detail, it turned out that many visitors were children, realizing this I was immediately a little worried about our main goal, which was the swimming pool, most likely this swimming pool was only intended for children. Because I was curious, I started walking towards the swimming pool area with my friend, and when I got there, it turned out that everything was in accordance with what I was worried about, there was only a children's swimming pool available here.

You know, when my uncle invited me to visit the swimming pool, what was on my mind was the large pool area and there was an adult pool, I even brought a change of clothes, because I had indeed targeted to swim as much as I wanted when I arrived at the swimming pool, but everything did not match my expectations. I immediately discussed with my uncle again about his invitation to this place, and he lightly answered that it was true that this was a swimming pool, and he wanted to bring his young children to swim here. You know how I feel, right.? Lol

But I didn't want everything to be in vain, so I kept playing in the water while looking after my cousin who was swimming there, and I spent a lot of time in the cottage area while enjoying the delicious culinary delights available here.
