(ES-EN) Un día de trabajo // A day at work

Buenos días gente linda de #HiveCuba , cuánto tiempo sin pasar por estos sitios. ,¿Cómo están? , ¿cómo les trata el año nuevo? Por mi parte vamos luchando, nunca he sido de creer que el comienzo de un año defina lo que debo o no cambiar, mejorar o hacer, eso es atemporal y se decide así sea a mitad de septiembre o finales de diciembre. Bueno, yo sigo trabajando, me cambiaron los días de trabajo y no me gusta pero todo no puede ser perfecto.

Good morning, lovely people of #HiveCuba! It's been a while since I've been here. How are you? How's the new year treating you? For my part, we're just getting by. I've never believed that the beginning of a year dictates what I should or shouldn't change, improve, or do. That's timeless, and decisions can be made in mid-September or late December. Anyway, I'm still working. They changed my work schedule, which I don't like, but nothing's perfect.

Para los que no saben, estoy trabajando como vocalista principal en un grupo que toca en el hotel Brisas Santa Lucía. Me va bien, o al menos mejor que en otros trabajos que he tenido, no es que sea fácil es que estoy haciendo lo que sé hacer desde que soy una niña, aunque no todo está aprendiendo y hay que superarse. El día de ayer , tocó cantar vestidos de flores...
No fue un super día , hubo errores, improvisaciones , fallo de audio ... pero hoy será mejor , estoy segura.

For those who don't know, I'm working as the lead vocalist in a band that plays at the Brisas Santa Lucía Hotel. It's going well, or at least better than in other jobs I've had. It's not that it's easy; it's just that I'm doing what I've known how to do since I was a child, although I'm still learning and have to keep improving. Yesterday, we had to sing dressed in floral dresses... It wasn't a great day; there were mistakes, improvisations, and audio problems... but today will be better, I'm sure.

Una cosa que me encanta de mi trabajo es ir haciendo fotos de las flores y los gatos que voy viendo durante el camino. Las guardo como un recuerdo de como la naturaleza ocupa su sitio sí o sí no importa el lugar, ni la circunstancia.

One thing I love about my job is taking pictures of the flowers and cats I see along the way. I keep them as a reminder of how nature finds its place, no matter the location or circumstances.

Aunque trabajo en un hotel, y algunas cosas se resuelven acá dentro, ayer tuve que salir a tomarme un café , en un "Rápido" que hay cerca. Estaba un poco deprimida , así que me bañé, me puse mi ropa y mis tenis y fui camino a beber mi cappuccino. Durante el trayecto, me fijé en este hotel que por mucho me parece de los más bonitos de la zona.

Although I work in a hotel, and some things are handled here, yesterday I had to go out for a coffee at a nearby "Rápido" (fast shop). I was feeling a bit down, so I showered, got dressed and put on my sneakers, and headed out for my cappuccino. On the way, I noticed this hotel, which I think is one of the most beautiful in the area.

En estos casi dos meses que llevo, he aprendido tanto...más de la vida que de la música, he conocido personas súper bondadosas y buenas y también he visto la cara oculta de otros que no tienen escrúpulos, que van por la vida buscando a quien hacer daño, de quien hablar, de quien enredar un chisme , a quien criticar...
Me quedo con lo bueno, con la gente linda, con las vistas, con las flores y los gatos. Yo seguiré siendo yo a toda costa, y me amarán aquellos que sepan ver más allá. Bueno, les deseo a todos un feliz y bendecido día , retomaré nuevamente hablar un poco sobre como me va y compartir mis experiencias, ya que me sumí por completo en las aguas de #liketu . Abrazo!

In these almost two months, I've learned so much... more about life than about music. I've met incredibly kind and good people, and I've also seen the dark side of others who have no scruples, who go through life looking for someone to hurt, someone to talk about, someone to spread gossip about, someone to criticize... I'm keeping the good things, the lovely people, the views, the flowers, and the cats. I will continue to be myself no matter what, and those who can see beyond the surface will love me.
