HSCP-WK 15 - My Morning Prep: How I Start My Day Right

I love waking up around 5 a.m., that’s my ideal time to start the day. The quietness of the early morning always gives me a calm feeling and a sense of control. My first activity is morning prayer, a moment I use to thank God for a new day and to commit everything I plan to do into His hands.

After praying, I move straight to a short workout. I usually begin with 10 to 15 push-ups, then slip on my shoes and head out for a jog. My workout sessions are not for building muscles or losing weight; I do them mainly to keep my body active and to ensure a smooth flow of blood within me.

When I return from jogging, I continue with a few simple exercises like arm rolls and light stretches until it’s about 6 a.m. Before getting into my chores, I first brush my teeth, I can’t stand an unbrushed mouth! It makes me uncomfortable, and I love being able to taste anything freely. Right after brushing, I usually drink a glass of water to refresh my body and clear my system.

Once that’s done, I get into my house chores: sweeping, washing the dirty plates, and warming any leftover food. I also make sure my kitchen is neat before I do anything else. If I plan to prepare breakfast, I start cooking immediately after cleaning up.

Finally, after everything is in order, I take my bath and get ready to face the day. This routine keeps me balanced, energized, and ready to take on whatever comes my way.

This a good routine. I like how you start with prayer and then take on some work outs which is important as well. Keep it up.

Prayer is important and I like as you let exercise follow, really wish I can add exercise to mine too

You can definitely add exercise to your as you wish. You just have to start little. Just start from simple stretches and ordinary jumping and maybe sitting on the air and you'll see yourself long to do more
