RELATIONSHIP RED FLAGS

The relationship involves having two people caring and showing affection of love to each other, it is an old practice of having a girl and a boy with the agreement and promises to each other to love and cherish each other, providing emotional and physical support to each other.
In recent times, relationships, where I am from, have become a means to an end, where guys go into relationships for the mere intent of satisfying a desire of theirs, while ladies go into relationships just because they can not provide for themselves and require a support system. This brings about a lack of trust between partners with the effects of double dating and unfaithfulness among partners.

There are a lot of red flags that one can see in a relationship that should make one decide if he/she is in a genuine relationship or a deceitful one. For the period of my experience with the relationships I have been in and with other people’s experiences who are close to me and share their experiences with me, I have a few rules/ideas to how a behavior in a relationship.

Some of these rules are as follows:

• For partners to trust each other, they should be able to account for each other at all times, this means that your partner should know your whereabouts at all times. You tell your daily plans/routine to your partner making them aware of what you are doing at all times or where you are at all times. At the start of every morning, if your partner does not live with you, it is expected for you to tell your partner about your plans for the day and if there are any changes to your plans for the day it is advised to update your partner.
• Another thing is that your partner is expected to know your friends and family.
• Certain details about your life shouldn’t be a secret to your partner.
• Communication is key in a relationship, it is expected in a relationship to have a clear means of communication, a regular time and mode of communication, whether you are living with your partner or not.

Red Flags in Relationship:

• The most troubling red flag should be when you notice a sudden behavior change, everyone has a pattern of behavior, it could be something the person does or says regularly or even how the person talks and treats you. It calls for a rethink when
• Poor communication: as I have discussed before, communication is key, lack of communication or poor communication is also a serious red flag in a relationship, good communication is a very important aspect of a relationship, having clear and good communication in a relationship is key in a relationship.
• Another red flag in a relationship is disrespect, having a disrespectful partner is not ideal, a home is where a child learns how to behave in society, the male child learns how to respect a woman from how his father treats his wife and the female child learns how to respect other men from the example she sees at home.
