The footprints of the earth
have dug into my soul.
Now I want to fly in a
mournful echo in the wind,
just to be free, free.

They are no pain that
bleeds my eyes or kills
my weary heart.

The sobs become daggers
pointed at the moon.
At the Jupiter of my pain,
which is a cry of pain
spread across the cosmos,
across existence.
I want to be free.
To fly free.
Free, free.

The more veins bleed,
the more a cigar carries
me to Olympus
with the mist of its smoke.
Free, free.
