After all, the entire part of choosing units and summoners for the match depends exclusively on the initial situation, which appears as soon as the match is found, informing details such as the amount of mana, the rules of the match, available elements, and also the opponent's match history.
In this ranked match, the mana limit was 25, which somewhat limited the choices, restricting the use of a few high-mana monsters. A positive point was that all elements were available, so both players could choose the elements they preferred. Finally, there was a rule in the match called Up Close & Personal. This rule significantly restricts the unit options a player can choose, as it only allows summoning monsters with melee attacks.
Why is Quora so strong?
Many Splinterlands players consider Quora Towershead one of the strongest cards available in the game. However, because it is so strong, there are limitations, such as its high mana cost of 10 mana points and the fact that it is a Gladiators card, which limits its use to brawls or ranked matches when using a summoner with the Conscript ability.
On one hand, it has the limitations of a Gladiator, but on the other hand, it's thanks to being a card from this collection that it possesses the ability that makes it so strong: Bloodlust. This ability increases its already very high stats—12 HP, 2 magic damage, 2 melee damage, and 3 speed—even more each time it defeats an opponent, raising all of them by +1. The point is that, because it has a total of 4 damage, separated into two different types of attacks, it's not uncommon for Quora to be the unit that finishes off opponents.
If Bloodlust and all these very high stats weren't enough, Quora Towershead also has the HEAL ability, which allows it to heal for 1/3 of its maximum health. This is very relevant since, with a base of 12 HP, it can heal for 4 HP. In addition, she has the Immunity ability, obtained at level 3, which I recently managed to reach, making her immune to opponents' abilities.
Quora Strategy “Combo”
After understanding the characteristics of this epic card from the Gladiators collection in more depth, it becomes clear why it alone was considered strong enough to be equivalent to an entire combo. Ultimately, in a scenario where the Up Close & Personal rule means only melee monsters can be used, and they generally only attack in the first position, Quora is a perfect choice, as she becomes almost unstoppable in 1 vs 1 situations. This is thanks to her entire kit, possessing excellent stats, a high healing capacity of 4 HP every turn, immunity, high damage, and the ability to buff herself with Bloodlust.
However, simply having Quora doesn't mean everything is solved. The strategy, in cases where the composition mainly depends on a single card, is to form a combo that assists it in every way possible. This is precisely the role of Disintegrator in the combo; it's responsible for debuffing the enemy team, halving the opponents' melee damage, allowing Quora to eliminate them one by one, since she will take less damage and will be healing herself.
The Halfling Refugee's position at the end may have startled some players, as some might think that if it were before the disintegrator, like the Mycelic Morphoid, the demoralize effect would continue to aid in the battle for longer. Know that one of the reasons it was positioned last was precisely because of the game's rule: Up Close & Personal → sneak and opportunity, especially when the amount of mana is not very high.

Detalhes da Partida
Acredito que seja interessante começar dando mais detalhes, partindo do contexto da batalha, para que em seguida possamos abordar os temas mais complexos como estratégia e como foi a batalha. Afinal, toda a parte da escolha das unidades e summoners para a partida depende exclusivamente da situação inicial, que aparece assim que a partida é encontrada, informando detalhes como quantidade de mana, as regras da partida, elementos disponíveis e também o histórico de partidas do adversário.
Nessa partida ranqueada, o limite de mana foi de 25, o que deixou as escolhas um pouco limitadas, restringindo um pouco ao uso de poucos monstros de mana alta. Um ponto positivo foi de que todos os elementos estavam disponíveis, então ambos os jogador conseguiram escolher os elementos que mais lhes agradava. Por fim, tivemos uma regra na partida, chamada Up Close & Personal. Essa regra restringe bastante as opções de unidades que o jogador pode escolher, já que só permite sumonar monstros com ataque melee.
Porque a Quora é tão forte?
Muitos jogadores de Splinterlands consideram a Quora Towershead uma das cartas mais fortes dentre todas sa cartas disponíveis no jogo. Um detalhe é que por ela ser tão forte, existem limitações, como sua quantidade de mana elevada de 10 mana points e o fato dela ser uma carta Gladiators, o que limita seu uso à brawls ou partidas rankeadas ao utilizar um summoner com a habilidade Conscript.
Por um lado tem essa limitação de gladiator, mas por outro é graças a ser uma carta dessa coleção que ela possui a habilidade que a deixa tão forte que é a Bloodlust, que faz com que os seus status que já são muito elevados, já que estamos falando de 12 de HP, 2 de dano mágio e 2 de dano melee e 3 de speed, ficarem ainda maiores a cada vez que ela derrotar um oponente, subindo todos eles em +1. A questão é que por ela ter um total de 4 de dano e separados em dois tipos de ataques diferentes, não é tão incomum que a Quora consiga ser a unidade que finaliza os oponentes.
Se já não bastasse ter bloodlust e todos esses status muito elevados, a Quora Towershead ainda possui a habilidade HEAL, que a permite se curar em 1/3 de sua vida máxima, que é muito relevante já que por ela possuir 12 de HP como base, faz com que ela consiga se curar em 4 pontos de HP. Junto disso, tem a sua habilidade Immnuity, obtida no nível 3, que por sinal acabei conseguindo chegar recentemente, fazendo com que ela seja imune a habilidade dos oponentes.
Estratégia da Quora “Combo”
Depois de entender mais a fundo as característas dessa carta épica da coleção gladiators, fica evidente o motivo de ela sozinha já ser considerava forte o suficiente para ser equivalente à todo um combo. Afinal, em um cenário no qual a regra Up Close & Personal faz com que apenas monstros melees possam ser usados, sendo que eles geralmente atacam apenas na primeira posição, a escolha de quora cai perfeitamente, já que ela se torna quase imparável no 1 vs 1. Isso graças à todo o seu kit, por possuir ótimos status, capacidade alta de se curar em 4 HP todo turno, imunidade, dano alto e capacidade de se bufar com o Bloodlust.
Entretanto, não significa que só por ter a Quora já está tudo resolvido. A estratégia, nesses casos em que a composição depende principalmente de uma única carta, é formar um combo que auxilie ela de toda forma possível. Esse é justamente o papel do Disintegrator no combo, ele é responsável por debuffar o time inimigo, reduzindo pela metade o dano melee dos oponentes, fazendo com que a Quora seja capaz de eliminar um por um, já que vai tomar menos dano e vai ir se curando.
A posição do Halfling Refugee no final pode ter assustado um pouco os jogadores, porque alguns podem pensar que se ele estivesse antes do disintegrator, assim como o Mycelic Morphoid, o efeito do demoralize continuaria auxiliando na batalha por mais tempo. Saiba que um dos motivos de ter sido posicionado na última posição foi justamente por conta da regra da partida: Up Close & Personal → sneak e opportunity, principalmente quando a quantidade de mana não é tão grande.
