Splinterlands is having a new themed event for creating posts, the Community Engagement Challenge, and since we had new promo cards being released, this is the theme of the week. So far, 4 Promo Cards have been released (Sanctus Vicar, Elanor Bravefoot, Night Stalker, and Delya), so to participate you must have a battle with one of these cards and share your strategies with the community. Sanctus Vicar| The Splinterlands Team made a proposal to create a set of Dual Element Promo cards and Sanctus Vicar is one of those cards, having the Water element and the Fire element. I believe it has more utility within the water element in Modern mode because Fire is more focused on Melee damage, while the water element is more flexible, with some compositions that use archers. Now in Wild, if you have cards like Jacek or Yodin Zaku, it can be a great addition to those teams that use archers.

Regarding its stats, the card has 2 ranged damage, 2 Speed, 4 HP and the interesting thing is the presence of 1 shield that makes this card withstand 1 hit of sneak melee damage, which is something quite common. Its ability is Cleanse Rearguard, which removes negative stats from the unit in the background. This is a very useful ability in strategies where you use a Taunt in the backline. When leveling up, the card gains Clease, being marked by its dual cleanse.

Sanctus Vicar| Now let's talk a little about the issue of the Card's value and the Market. This card had its promotional sale ended and as it is an NFT, it began to be traded on the Hive markets. There are a total of 11,264 BCX, but only 1,461, which means that 10k cards were used for combination, making this card have a very low supply, which increases its rarity. Furthermore, only 85 cards are being traded on the market with a minimum value of $2 and having offers close to that value, of $1.7. Since these promos are traded at 3k DEC, this means that they are just a little below their sale value, but remember that when buying on sale there are some benefits.

⚔️ ABOUT THE LINEUP ⚔️

Ally | My strategy for the battle was focused on two parts. The first was the River Hellondale + Venari Marksrat combo, which made the martyr activate twice, buffing Djinn Oshannus by +2 to all of his stats. The second part was focused on the backline. Wave Brood would receive the attacks because of Taunt, Mandarin would heal him, and Sanctus would remove any type of debuff that the enemy could place.

Enemy | My opponent used a very strong summoner, which is Possibulus, which gives 3 buffs +2 to HP, Trample, and Reach. The combo he used was to put the Coastal Sentry in second position to give the Double Strike since he will have Reach. He also used an extremely strong Tank because he has Bloodlust and Return Fire which countered my team well.

🤔 CONCLUSION 🤔

In this battle there were two points that made it very difficult to achieve victory. The first and main one was the enemy Tank, Sea Wreck, which, because it had Return Fire, caused my 3 archers to take damage when attacking it. Furthermore, when it started stacking Bloodlust, the shield returned and it received an HP regen from Bloodlust and Merdali Guardian, which made it very difficult to get past it. The second point was that the opponent had some very strong cards, such as Coastral, which dealt 6 damage per turn, and Deepluker, which dealt 3 to the weakest target.

Even though I lost, the interesting thing was to observe that my team lasted a long time. Maybe if it weren't for a Legendary Summoner like Possibulus, I could have won.

Sanctus Vicar| O Time do Splinterlands fez uma proposta de criar um conjunto de cartas Promo de Dual Element e o Sanctus Vicar é uma dessas cartas, tendo o elemento água e o elemento Fogo. Acredito que ele tenha mais utilidade dentro do elemento água no modo Modern porque o Fire é mais focada em dano Melee, enquanto o elemento água é mais flexível tendo algumas composições que usam arqueiros. Agora no Wild se tiver cartas como Jacek ou Yodin Zaku ela pode ser uma ótima adição nesses times que fazem uso de arqueiros.

Sobre o seu status, a carta possui 2 de dano ranged, 2 de Speed, 4 de hp e o interessante é a presença de 1 de shield que faz com que essa carta aguente 1 hit de dano sneek melee que é algo bem comum. Sua habilidade é a Cleanse Rearguard, que etira os status negativos da unidade ao fundo. Essa é uma habilidade muito útil em estratégias que você use um Taunt na backline. Ao subir de nível a carta ganha Clease, ficando marcada por seu dual cleanse.

Sanctus Vicar| Agora vamos falar um pouco sobre a questão do valor da Carta e o Mercado. Essa carta teve sua venda promo finalizada e como é um NFT começou a ser negociada nos mercados da Hive. Existe um total de 11264 BCX, mas apenas 1461, o que sigifica que 10k de cartas foram usadas para combinação fazendo com que essa carta tenha uma oferta bem baixa, o que aumenta a sua raridade. Além disso, no market apenas 85 cartas estão sendo negociada com um valor mínimo de $2 e tendo ofertas próximas à esse valor, de 1,7$. Como essas promos são negociadas à 3k de DEC isso significa que está apenas um pouco abaixo do seu valor de venda, mas lembrando que ao comprar na promoção há alguns benefícios.

Aliado | Minha estratégia para a batalha era focada em duas partes. A primeira era o combo de River Hellondale + Venari Marksrat, que fazia com que o martyr fosse ativado duas vezes buffando o Djinn Oshannus em +2 todos os seus status. Já a segunda parte era focada na backline. O Wave Brood, ia receber os ataques por causa do Taunt, o mandarin ia curá-lo e o Sanctus iria retirar qualquer tipo de debuff que o inimigo pudesse colocar.

Inimigo | Meu oponente usou um summoner muito forte, que é o Possibulus, que dá 3 buffs +2 de HP, Trample e Reach. O combo que ele usou foi colocar o Coastal Sentry na segunda posição para dar o Double Strike já que vai ter o Reach. Ele usou um Tank extremamente forte também porque tem Bloodlust e Return Fire o que Counterou bem o meu time.

Nesse batalha houveram dois pontos que dificultaram bastante alcançar a vitória. O primeiro e principal foi o Tank inimigo, o Sea Wreck, que por ter o Return Fire, fazia com que meus 3 arqueiros tomassem dano ao atacá-lo, além disso, quando ele começou a stackar o Bloodlust o shield voltava e ele recebia um regen de HP do bloodlust e da Merdali Guardian, o que dificultou muito passar por ele. O segundo ponto foi que o oponente tenha algumas cartas bem fortes como a Coastral que causava 6 de dano por turno, o Deepluker que dava 3 na alvo mais fraco.

Mesmo tendo perdido o interessante foi observar que o meu time durou bastante tempo, talvez se não fosse contra um Summoner Lendário como o Possibulus eu poderia ter ganhado.
