Fungi Friday - 3 species that look so unique and enchanting this Friday
Hello Everyone, today I am back to prepare some beautiful mushrooms that I will be featuring in the #FungiFriday Community hosted by @ewkaw today.
This time, I'm back with some photos of mushroom species I found a few days ago in a small forest. The first one I found was this Schizophyllum species. Its unique, fan-like shape and beautiful gills were visible, and I saw it growing abundantly on a pile of rotting, damp wood. And at that time as usual I immediately took my smartphone camera and macro lens in the small bag that I carry wherever I go.

And a moment later I immediately took several different angles of pictures to see the interesting side of this mushroom species, because this mushroom species has its own characteristics that look so beautiful and elegant, and you can see below some portraits of this mushroom species and I hope you like it.
Then I continued exploring this small forest and hoped to get more species of mushrooms. And suddenly I found a mushroom known by another name, namely Podoscypha, and at that time I saw it growing abundantly in the bushes of dry leaves and that's where I found this species of mushroom, and its small shape resembles a bowl that looks so unique with a slightly brownish white color that looks so perfect, and at that time I immediately approached it and took several different angles of pictures and it looked very beautiful and elegant, and you can see below some portraits of this mushroom species.
Podoscypha is a genus of fungi in the family Meruliaceae. The genus has a widespread distribution, especially in tropical regions, and contains about 35 species.....Wikipedia
Then after I photographed the mushroom species above, I went home and on the way home I found a dead and rotten areca nut tree, and at that time I found this wood fungus which is known by another name, namely Ganoderma, and its shape is quite large with a hard texture with yellow and brown colors that look so unique and interesting, and at that time I immediately approached it and took several shots of the picture that looked so beautiful and elegant, and you can see below some portraits of this wood mushroom species.
Ganoderma is a eukaryotic organism classified as a true fungus. Ganoderma cell walls are composed of chitin, but the cells lack chlorophyll.....Wikipedia
