Today's random word that popped into my head for no reason: VERDANT
According to an online version of The American Heritage Dictionary, here's what that word means/suggests:
"Green with vegetation; covered with green growth.
Green in hue.
Lacking experience or sophistication; naive."
Why do words just ARRIVE in a person's brain, particularly a FOOLISH brain? What's the connection between today's drive and the word "verdant?" I saw some new growth on some of the trees I passed on the drive to taking the granddaughter to school... Also, I lack experience and sophistication... All I know is that I don't know nothin'...

I VOTED!!!! This particular ballot, here in the lower reaches of Washington State, only had ONE issue on it: SCHOOL FUNDING. If you're going to vote for ANYTHING, it should be EDUCATING KIDS, so they don't grow up not knowing how to live their lives... Vote or be destroyed!
