Hello friends, today I'm writing this text to talk about our day in Serra da Estrela with my family. It was a simple but important day for us, and I want to cherish this memory. We went to the mountains to see the snow, take pictures, and enjoy the moment together. The drive was peaceful, and everyone was curious to see what it would be like when we got to the top. The children asked when we would see real snow and watched intently out the window as the landscape gradually changed and the snow approached, despite the heavy traffic.

When we arrived, we saw the ground covered in snow and ice, with bushes all around and a cold, gray sky. The ground was slippery, but we continued playing because it was a good moment, different from everyday life. The snow made a noise under our boots, and the icy wind hit our faces, but nobody cared because what mattered was that we were there as a family, and these are very important moments for all of us.

Further on, we stopped and saw a snowman that needed someone to touch it up because one of the eyes and the carrot-shaped nose were no longer in place. We touched up the snowman and it looked great whoever made it had a good idea because they used sticks for arms and two small stones for eyes. It was a little crooked, but we found it funny and took another photo to remember the moment.

Afterwards, we stood there for a few moments, almost in crystalline silence, looking at the landscape, just feeling the cold and the atmosphere of the mountains and appreciating that marvel of nature that was before us.

Then we took some photos of everyone together, with thick coats, hats and gloves, our faces already marked by the cold but with natural smiles. This photo shows what the day meant to us. It wasn't a big trip or full of expensive things; it was just a day spent together, laughing, talking, playing and creating memories that we will remember later.

We returned home tired, with cold hands and wet feet, but with full hearts. In the car, we talked about what we liked most, and the children said they wanted to come back another day. We know how children are; they immediately ask to go back, and that's a sign they enjoyed it. But I want to too, because moments like these make us appreciate the simple things in life. We don't need much to be happy we just need to be together and enjoy family time.

I'm writing this post and sharing it with you to cherish this day, so that when I read it again in the future, I can remember the cold, the laughter, the snow on the ground, and the white path ahead of us. It was a simple day, lived calmly, without haste, with photos that show exactly how everything was. This day will remain in my memory, and this text will serve as proof of this experience in Serra da Estrela, spent with family, with snow, joy, and togetherness.

Olá amigos, hoje escrevo este texto para falar do nosso dia na Serra da Estrela com a minha família. Foi um dia simples, mas importante para nós, e quero guardar esta lembrança. Fomos à serra para ver a neve, tirar fotos e aproveitar o momento juntos. O caminho foi calmo e todos estavam curiosos para saber como ia ser quando chegássemos lá acima. As crianças perguntavam quando íamos ver neve de verdade e ficavam a olhar pela janela com muita atenção enquanto a paisagem mudava pouco a pouco e a neve se aproximava, apesar de haver muito trânsito para chegar ao local.

Quando chegámos, vimos o chão cheio de neve e gelo, com arbustos à volta e um céu cinzento e frio. O chão escorregava, mas mesmo assim continuámos a brincar, porque o momento era bom e diferente do dia a dia. A neve fazia barulho debaixo das botas e o vento gelado batia na cara, mas ninguém se importava, porque o que interessava era estarmos ali em família e são momentos muito importantes para todos nós.

Mais à frente parámos e vimos um boneco de neve que precisava que alguém o retocasse porque um dos olhos e o nariz em cenoura não estavam já no lugar retocamos o boneco de neve e ficou muito fixe, quem o fez teve uma boa ideia porque fez com paus a fazer de braços e duas pequenas pedras a servir de olhos. Ele ficou um pouco torto, mas achámos graça e tirámos outra foto para lembrar esse momento.
Depois ficamos por breves momentos quase como em silêncio cristalino ali a olhar a paisagem, só a sentir o frio e o ambiente da serra e a apreciar aquela maravilha da natureza que estava a nossa frente.

Depois tirámos umas fotos de todos juntos, com casacos grossos, gorros e luvas, já com o rosto marcado pelo frio mas com sorrisos naturais. Essa foto mostra o que o dia significou para nós. Não foi uma viagem grande nem cheia de coisas caras foi apenas um dia passado juntos, a rir a falar, a brincar e a criar memórias que vamos lembrar mais tarde.

Voltámos para casa cansados, com as mãos frias e os pés molhados, mas com o coração cheio. No carro falámos do que mais gostámos e as crianças disseram que querem voltar outro dia, já sabemos como são as crianças pedem logo para voltar e isso é sinal que gostaram ma eu também quero, porque momentos assim dão valor às coisas simples da vida. Não precisamos de muito para sermos felizes, basta estarmos juntos e aproveitar o tempo em família.

Escrevo este post e partilho convosco para guardar este dia e para que, quando eu voltar a lê-lo no futuro, consiga lembrar o frio, as gargalhadas, a neve no chão e o caminho branco à nossa frente. Foi um dia simples, vivido com calma, sem pressa, com fotos que mostram exatamente como tudo foi. Este dia fica na memória e este texto fica como prova dessa experiência na Serra da Estrela, passada em família, com neve, alegria e união.
