My mornings are peaceful / Mis mañanas son tranquilas - LOH contest week #270 (eng-esp)
Greetings, everyone.
My mornings are very peaceful. Since I lived in Cuba, I've always been used to getting up very early. In fact, it's very rare that I get up after 5 a.m. Therefore, I can't do many chores around the house so as not to wake anyone up.
So, the first thing I do is make myself a coffee before starting my day.
While the coffee is brewing, I start reading. I always review the articles published on my website's blog before posting them.
Reading is one of the activities I enjoy most in life. I can't imagine a morning without reading.
This gives me the opportunity to review and respond to comments or messages sent to my website. And that way I catch up on work and organize my workday.
Once I've finished my coffee, I sit down to check some pages I follow on Facebook and Instagram.
Mostly to see what my friends in the High Literature community have been up to.
This is a moment of leisure I need to relax while I have my coffee and prepare breakfast.
And then, before starting work, as dawn breaks, I look for the day's most important news to catch up on the political, cultural, sporting, and literary events in my native country and in Europe, where I'm currently living.
*** When my wife and daughter start getting up, breakfast is already ready, and I'm prepared to take care of them and begin my workday.
This only changes on weekends when I'm not working. Then, instead of working, we sit and chat at the table for a couple of hours and then go for a walk.
It's something simple, dear @sacra97, but it's a routine that works for us and makes me happy.

Mis mañas son muy tranquilas. Desde que vivía en Cuba siempre acostumbré a levantarme muy temprano. De hecho es muy raro el día en que me levante después de las 5 a.m. Por tanto no puedo realizar muchas tareas en la casa para no despertar a nadie.
Así que lo primero que hago es ir a prepararme un café antes de comenzar el día.
En lo que el café se hace, comienzo a leer. Siempre reviso los artículos publicados en el blog de mi página web antes de publicarlos.
Leer es una de las actividades que más disfruto en la vida. No me imagino una mañana sin leer.
Eso me da pie para revisar y responder los comentarios o mensajes enviados a mi página web. Y así me pongo al día con el trabajo y me organizo la jornada laboral.
Una vez terminado el café me siento a revisar algunas páginas que sigo en Facebook y en Instagram.
Sobre todo para saber que han hecho mis amigos de Alta Literatura.
Este es un momento de ocio que necesito para relajarme mientras me tomo el café y preparo el desayuno.
Y entonces antes de comenzar a trabajar, ya cuando comienza a amanecer, busco las noticias más importantes de la jornada para ponerme al día con los sucesos políticos, culturales, deportivos y literarios de mi país natal y de Europa, donde me encuentro viviendo en estos momentos.
Cuando comienzan a levantarse mi esposa y mi hija ya tienen el desayuno listo y yo me encuentro preparado para atenderlas y comenzar mi jornada trabajo.
Esto solo cambia los fines de semana cuando no trabajo. Entonces en lugar de trabajar lo que hacemos es sentarnos a conversar en la mesa durante un par de horas y luego salir a pasear.
Es algo simple, estimada @sacra97, pero es una rutina que nos funciona y me hace feliz.

My wife and children are my life. My wife works a lot at the university. My son already lives on his own, and my daughter is still studying. It makes me so happy to see them wake up and find breakfast ready. It's the least I can do for them; they deserve everything.
