It's with great pleasure that I'm joining you to participate in this week's contest and talk about my favorite sitcom: The Big Bang Theory, or TBBT for short.
What I like most about this series is the freshness of the theme used. I've always been considered an outsider in many circles, as my love of video games, anime, and fantasy and science fiction series like Star Wars and Star Trek aren't well received or understood by everyone.
For that reason, when I watched the first episodes of this series, I completely identified with it.
The best thing about this series is that it marked a turning point for this entire universe, which was previously frowned upon among adults. By that, I mean seeing adults playing "children's or teenagers' games" or watching children's or teenagers' games, movies, or series. Or simply, fantasy or science fiction.
Since The Big Bang Theory, being a nerd has gone from being a negative to a positive.
The way its creators linked modern, cutting-edge science with interpersonal situations and multiple references to arthouse cinema and cult series is another of its great added values.
And of course, there's the casting, the fine and exquisite humor of the script.
The design of very well-defined, unique characters, and the use of stereotypes and clichés of nerd culture within a well-executed dramatic framework, demonstrates that good cinema and television can be made without falling into obscenities and commonplaces.
The Big Bang Theory is a series that, in my opinion, doesn't have a single bad episode. Each one is a work of art, created expressly for our enjoyment.

Con mucha alegría me acerco a ustedes para participar en el concurso de la semana y hablar de mi sitcom preferida: The Big Bang Theory o TBBT, para abreviar.
Lo que más me gusta de esta serie es la frescura del tema utilizado. Siempre me ha considerado un alienado en múltiples círculos, ya que mis gustos por los videojuegos, animes, las series de fantasía y de ciencia ficción como Star wars y Star trek, no son muy bien recibidos o entendidos por todo el mundo.
Por ese motivo, cuando vi los primeros capítulos de esta serie, me sentí completamente identificado.
Lo mejor de esta serie es que marcó un antes y un después para todo este universo, que antes era mal visto entre los adultos. Con eso me refiero al hecho de ver a adultos jugando “juegos de niños o adolescentes” o viendo juegos películas o series para niños o adolescentes. O simplemente, de fantasía o ciencia ficción.
A partir de The Big Bang Theory, ser un nerd pasó de ser algo negativo a positivo.
El tratamiento que le otorgaron sus creadores para vincular la ciencia moderna y de vanguardia, con las situaciones interpersonales y las múltiples referencias al cine de autor y series de culto, es otro de sus grandes valores agregados.
Y por supuesto, están el casting, el humor fino y exquisito del guión.
El diseño de personajes muy bien marcados, únicos y con el uso de los estereotipos y los clichés de la cultura nerd en función de una línea dramatúrgica muy bien llevada, demuestra que se puede hacer buen cine y buena televisión sin caer en obscenidades y lugares comunes.
The Big Bang theory es una serie que, en mi opinión no tiene un solo capítulo malo. Cada uno de ellos es una obra de arte, hecha expresamente para nuestro deleite.
