I've never considered myself a superstitious person, nor am I one of those who depends on luck to achieve their goals. In fact, I prefer to think that luck, like destiny, is something we build ourselves, decision by decision, action by action.

However, wanting to believe it is one thing, and the fact that it doesn't actually exist is quite another. There are many things that happen, and I can't find any other explanation for them than: pure luck. So, if we see luck as something possible and real, we must keep this in mind:

First, we cannot depend on it. Our main task is to prepare ourselves, physically and mentally, for the future. We have to forge our own path with effort and perseverance, as if luck didn't exist. Putting our hopes on a stroke of luck is a mistake; it's a weak strategy. The foundation must always be our work, our study, and our discipline.

Second, if luck comes your way, you have to learn to recognize it. Sometimes it presents itself as an unexpected opportunity, a chance encounter, or a door that opens without warning. And when you recognize it, don't let it pass you by. Seize it immediately. Don't overthink it or wait for it to come around again. Act. The same combination of circumstances rarely repeats itself.

Third, you must always be prepared. Luck, if it appears, must find you working and ready. It cannot take you by surprise or with your hands down. If you haven't done your homework, it won't do you any good for opportunity to knock on your door. You will be unable to take advantage of it. Preparation is what turns a stroke of luck into a real turning point.

Finally, and this is essential, you must always be clear about what you want to be and work accordingly. You must commit to your path and be disciplined. As long as you fulfill all of this, with consistency and focus, something happens. You stop wondering if luck exists. Because by acting this way, by being alert and prepared, you create it yourself. You attract it to you. Luck does play a role, yes, but it only becomes tangible for those who are ready to receive it and make it part of their story.

Nunca me he considerado una persona supersticiosa ni soy de los que depende de la suerte para conseguir sus objetivos. De hecho, prefiero pensar que la suerte, al igual que el destino, es algo que construimos nosotros mismos, decisión por decisión, de acción en acción.

La atraes hacia ti. La suerte influye, sí, pero solo se hace tangible para quien está listo para recibirla y convertirla en parte de su historia.
